-Serves as Chief of Health Information Management (CHIM) with full program responsibility for all facets of the Health Information Management (HIM) program and processes. Must ensure HIM program meets and/or exceed national HIM policies, procedures, and performance metrics. Responsible for the administrative management of health records, which includes planning, managing, advising, and directing the health information program in accordance with applicable Federal laws, facility by-laws, VHA policy, The Joint Commission (TJC) standards, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and other regulatory and accrediting agency standards.

-Responsible for all facets of health records management for the facility ensuring maintenance of complete, accurate, timely, clinically-pertinent, and readily-accessible patient health records, which contain sufficient recorded information to serve as a basis to plan patient care, support diagnoses, warrant treatment, measure outcomes, support education and facilitate performance improvement processes and legal requirements. 10110–40 hour - Regional Relief Trainee Pharmacy Assistant – Permanent Contract

We are looking to recruit a 40 hour Regional Relief Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work between all of our branches in region 19 which covers 11 branches in Leeds, Burley in Wharfedale, Guiseley, Menston and Otley area.

Usual working hours can range between 09:00 to 17:00, or 09:00 to 18:00.

Due to the travel nature of the role it would be ideal if you held a full driving licence complete with access to your own vehicle.

The Workforce Lifecycle Systems Branch (WLSB) delivers operational support and provides oversight to critical HR systems. The branch has two sections, each managing an array of HR systems and initiatives that empower the employee journey at the NIH.

• The Talent Management Systems Section (TMSS), works with OPM, NIH administrative communities and OHR partners to provide project management, support product improvement, and training for HRIT systems and tools used for: recruiting, evaluating, assessing, certifying, selecting, hiring, and onboarding the unique talents that support the NIH mission.
• The Core Systems Section (CS) works with CIT, NIH administrative communities and OHR partners to
  provide project management, product improvement, and training for Enterprise HRIT systems and
  tools.

As an HR Specialist (Information Systems) serving as HRSS Help Desk Lead within HR Systems, Analytics, and Information Division (HRSAID), Workforce Lifecycle Systems Branch (WLSB) your duties will include:

• Participate in the planning, development of policy, evaluation and coordination of NIH human resources programs through project assignments and membership on task forces and committees.
• Provide technical support for existing systems.

• Monitor project activities and resources to mitigate risks for an organization.

Duties include, but may not be limited to the following:

• Perform technical level purchasing support adhering to the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Veteran Affairs Acquisition Regulations (VAAR), Veteran Health Administration (VHA), and Prosthetics directives and handbooks, Veterans Integrated Service Networks (VISN) policy and station memorandums to acquire Veteran specific medical equipment, supplies and services based on a medical provider's clinical assessment and evaluation of the Veteran's medical condition.
• Submits Acquisition Plans and Procurement Packages for stock and veteran specific needs to the Network Contracting Office and uploads quotes, bids, invoices, consults, and other important documents to Electronic Contract Management System (eCMS).
• Verifies Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) and Bradstreet information and ensures each vendor is in System for Award Management (SAM) and in good standing with the government to do business with.
• Verifies accountability of all prosthetics expenditures in both the purchase menu and the prosthetics program and associate all obligations to the individual veteran.
• Ensure the services provides are documented not only as the type of service, but the duration.
• Complex purchasing: requires irregular research, analysis, collaboration and many other steps to ensure both best value and the most appropriate devices are purchased for the Veterans.
• Routine purchasing: includes routine purchase orders on established contracts or through established vendor resources using regular significant research, analysis or collaboration.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The duty of the position of Supervisory Management and Program Analyst includes but is not limited to the following:

• Manages staffing, budgeting, procuring, and training for the service.
• Develops and manages the strategic for CCC.
• Develops and implements long and short-range goals and plans, which includes identifying needs and potential issues in operation of the service through analyzing workload, expenditures, trends, and national VA policy implications.
• Participates in CCC strategic planning initiatives as well as those of other VISNs located across the nation to assure an awareness of medical administration issues and implications are considered and influences management's decisions.
• Functions as a technical expert on CCC topics which may also include application of state and local laws regarding health care, or the eligibility provision of the Veterans Health Administration.
• Serves as a contact center medical administration liaison to facilities, VISN, national Contact Center's Program Managers on VISN 10 contact center operations.
• Utilizes their understanding of fiscal management principles of government and agency budget systems, including awareness of costs involved in many areas such as Full-Time Equivalent Employee (FTEE), overtime, and equipment.
• Maintains an ongoing updated status of financial data and makes appropriate and authorized adjustments to meet changing needs.
• Assures employees receive appropriate training and are knowledgeable and skillfully trained to perform their associated tasks. Establishes an annual training program, career development programs, and compliance to annual performance measures in collaboration with CCC's leadership.
• Participates in internal and external reviews within CCC and participates on quality improvement teams. Develops plans for measurement and efficiency of quality and productivity of the Scheduling and Administration Services.
• Provides leadership for advancing administrative clinical practices that support patient care and delivery of health benefits, including responsibility for the hiring and selection of staff; providing competency assessments; and completes performance evaluations for all employees under their supervision.
• Ensures staff compliance in the protection of private and confidentiality information contacted in electronic and printed documents in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) guidelines, the Privacy Act, and CCC's policies.
