The post holder will support the development of strategy, planning, redesign, policy, commissioning and performance management of mental health services across Birmingham and Solihull as a member of the Mental Health Provider Collaborative.

You will have responsibility for support and at times leading delivering key elements of the Commissioning and Transformation teams workplan such as:
• Children and young people's transformation programme
• Health Inequalities
• Mental health support teams in schools
• Crisis care
• Talking therapies



You will join a team comprising experienced commissioners from a range of professional backgrounds. Major Duties:

The Nursing Assistant (NAs) positions are located on the Inpatient units, Resource management, Emergency Department, and in the escort department of the Medical Center. In addition to the above clinical duties, the successful candidate will be expected to fully participate in the department's educational activities, which may include the teaching of medical students, nurses and other groups. The department is committed to education and training of all staff groups and the successful candidate will be expected to play an active role in audit and other clinical governance activities. The appointee will be required to undergo an annual appraisal and subsequently revalidation as determined by the General Medical Council.

Wage grade 3 workers can do all the duties of a lower grade worker.
