About the role:
We are looking for a human resources officer who will be working closely with the office team. You will be responsible for the onboarding of new staff, monitoring staff performance, and liaising with the employees and clients. The role is suited to a highly organised individual who prides themselves on the following process and their attention to detail:
Key Duties Include:
Recruiting and onboarding staff.
Negotiating contracts and working conditions.
Dealing with workplace relations issues such as complaints, conflicts, grievances, and misconduct.
Looking after the health, safety, and welfare of all employees.
Ensuring candidates have the right to work.
Liaise with the Payroll and Rostering team and responding to staff enquiries regarding issues.
Completing general administration duties when required.
Developing positive relationships with our staff and customers.
Requirements / Experience:
Qualification in Human Resources.
At least 1 year of H.R. work experience.
Working with a large staff.
Experience in general administration.
Skills:
Strong communication and technical skills.
Demonstrate an ability to effectively manage multiple priorities at once.
Constructive problem-solving skills (identify a problem and offer a solution).
Effective organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and with others, be a participative and supportive team member.
Ability to identify creative solutions to challenging issues.
High level of computer literacy – MS Office, email system, etc.
