We are currently looking to recruit experienced care assistants to work in a 42 bed Residential Home in Burton-on-Trent. This home supports residents with Dementia, Physical Disability, Challenging Behaviour, Alzheimer’s and Nursing. The role will mainly involve personal care for service users when required, assisting residents to bed, carrying out safe and well checks throughout the shift and carrying out other general duties.
You will use your knowledge and experience to assist the residents with their activities of daily living providing a care centred approach round their detailed care package. Our Care assistants are required to have sound experience in Health and Social Care.
You will be expected to work alongside the established team of Carers and Nurses assisting them.
To be suitable for this position you must have:
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate that is registered on the update service
- Up to date mandatory training certificates
- Full up-to-date CV
- A minimum of 3 months paid UK experience within a similar setting
If you do not have a Enhanced DBS or training we are able to assist you will get these at a subsidised cost and certificates are your to keep.

This position is ongoing.
The hours will be 22:00 to 08:00 on nights between Monday and Sunday
The rate of pay is £12.00 per hour.
