Job Title: Senior HR Advisor
Salary: £26,846 - £32,810 per annum (Salary based on 30 hours)
Hours: 30 Hours Pro Rata
Type: Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor (Schools) to join our client's team, offering a professional and high-quality HR service to schools and academies. In this role, you will provide expert advice on a wide range of HR matters, support complex employee relations casework, and lead the development of school-based HR policies and procedures. You will also deliver training sessions to clients on various HR topics.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide expert HR advice to schools and academies, supporting complex employee relations casework.
- Act as an investigating officer on various employment matters and attend formal meetings.
- Lead the development and implementation of school-based HR policies, working closely with Trade Union representatives.
- Design and deliver HR training sessions for school clients.
- Proactively manage and solve complex HR cases including disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, TUPE, and redundancy.
- Collaborate with school leaders to ensure HR practices align with school-specific legislation.
- Travel throughout Herefordshire to attend on-site school meetings as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in managing and solving complex HR casework.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and school-specific legislation is beneficial.
- CIPD qualified or equivalent experience.
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously under the guidance of a line manager.
- Own transport required for travel to client sites.
