• Provides employee relations assistance to managers for assigned organizations of a complex nature. Serves as a senior specialist resolving very difficult employee relations issues.
• Provides labor relations advisory services. Responds to inquiries or requests in a timely fashion. Recognizes and acts on situations needing attention.
• Thoroughly researches and accurately evaluates facts and develops complex management positions, proposals, and agendas for negotiations.
• Administers labor relations assignment. Completes high-quality staff work for a variety of actions including Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) position papers, grievances and appeals, union complaints, Congressional Inquiries, etc.
• Prepares and delivers written reports and oral presentations, e.g., briefings, training sessions, consultations, orientations, and discussions with senior leadership, supervisors, employees, and union officials.

1. Serves as advisor to commanders and supervisors on human resources (HR) programs affecting full-time employees. Monitors nexus between full time personnel and military readiness and advises leadership on impacts of military decisions on full time personnel management. Analyzes data and making determinations regarding various human resources matters that may involve or may affect employees. Assist the HRO with staff visits and training full time personnel, supervisors, managers, etc. within the unit in all programs for which responsible. My assist in conducting periodic briefings for staff, commanders, and administrative personnel to promote a full understanding of all aspects of the assigned program. Develops and provides commanders, supervisors, and the MPS staff with a variety of statistical data reports pertaining to military HR issues to assist in HR management decisions. Incumbent has responsibility/accountability for assigned program accomplishment. (25%)

2. Works with HRO and the Wing to accomplish a wide range of human resources transactions for employees related to recruitment, placement, classification, employee and labor relations, benefits, entitlements, training, and incentive awards. These duties require technical understanding and knowledge of numerous human resources and military guidelines, regulations, instructions, directives, procedures, policies, and precedent situations involving analyzing the interrelationship and impact various human resources actions in different functional areas may have on personnel. These duties impact the civilian and military manpower documents and resourcing. Uses judgment and discretion to interpret numerous military and civilian policies and provide completed work to both HRO and supported military organizations. (25%)

3. Advises and provides comprehensive procedural and technical guidance to managers and supervisors in the areas of recruitment, placement, separation, and retirement. Tracks and coordinates hiring system actions for Wing. Obtains vacancy requirements from functional area supervisors and prepares requests for vacancy announcements. Forwards request to the HRO for final approval. Upon receipt of the announcement, incumbent makes distribution to units/sections. Furnishes information to employees or job applicants regarding vacancies and mandatory requirements for competitive/excepted status positions. May assist HRO with certificates f eligibility to selecting supervisors, coordinating selections/non-selections with HRO as appropriate. Coordinates the completion of necessary documents of civilian personnel who deploy, mobilize, separate, retire, etc. Advises and provides detailed guidance or specific information on benefits and services including, but not limited to; thrift savings plans, life insurance, health insurance open seasons, leave and pay inquiries, uncommon tours of duty, Office of Workmen's Compensation (OWCP) claims, disciplinary actions, performance ratings. Processes requests for training and incentive awards. As the human resources liaison representative, coordinates human resources transactions on a daily basis with management officials, technicians, the ANG organization/unit and HRO. Performs administrative and clerical support duties in the areas of incentive awards, training, classification, performance ratings, etc. Monitors suspense's established by the HRO and the ANG organization/unit for performance evaluations, and annual reviews and ensures timely and complete submissions by supervisors. Track and reviews nominations for awards and training for completeness and accuracy prior to forwarding to the HRO. (25%)

4. Maintains and reviews the Unit Manning Document (UMD) validating the position description number, title, series, grade, and resourcing. Compiles necessary statistics to reflect current status, and accurate consumption of allocated requirements and resources for the purpose of accomplishing a planned hiring program that will meet programmed year end strength and future projections and requirements. Assist HRO with advising Military Personnel Section, Force Support Squadron, and higher-level leadership on changes to full time resources or requirements. Monitors full time manpower studies and application to unit manning documents and advises on and coordinates full time personnel actions associated with manpower changes. Monitors Manpower Resource Voucher (MRV) funding documents provided by National Guard Bureau and advises leadership as necessary on funding changes across or within fiscal years that impacts full time manpower resources. (15%)

Joining us in our Project and Resource Officer role, you will be the critical interface between Facility Management and project delivery teams; covering project handovers to be successful and not disrupt facility operation.

You will be responsible for ensuring all upcoming & live project works within a Facility are planned, implemented, and handed over with Operational considerations and approvals clearly captured and processed.

This role is a 12-month full time fixed term (Located in Macquarie Park)

In this role you’ll see yourself: 

• Proactively partnering with the Facility Management, Capital Works Development teams, Principal Contractor, and sub-contractors to define interface requirements, timeframes, notification periods and other relevant co-ordination aspects.

• Assisting with testing and commissioning activities as a Facility Subject Matter Expert (SME), managing operational risks associated with operational equipment and services. 
• Managing the handover of new equipment, ensuring a smooth transition, including all relevant documentation, training, commissioning, and other handover requirements are executed. 
• Managing defect identification and closure process rectification within the project, prior to handover to ensure facility quality standards are met. 
• Ensuring project delivery teams adhere to Facility Management processes.

The People, Culture and Brand group encompasses Human Resources (“HR”), Communications, Marketing, Brand, Workplace Transformation and Real Estate. What You’ll Be Doing

Our Talent Acquisition team delivers best-in-class experiences to enable CIBC to attract top talent. As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll proactively source, identify and assess external talent, hiring strong talent and leaders who can help us deliver an exceptional client and employee experience.  You will primarily support CIBC’s US Capital Markets businesses by developing strategic talent attraction strategy, sourcing plans, and actively recruiting high quality candidates who can effectively support business plans and goals.

How You’ll Succeed

• Develop & implement strategic sourcing plans, utilizing social media, applicant tracking systems (Workday), strategic events, traditional marketing and campaigns. Identify strategies and sourcing channels to build a pipeline of diverse and qualified candidates for this line of business.

• Establish connections, maintain and leverage a professional online and social media presence, and prospect talent through your network.

• Research and design talent market maps to support business requirements.

• Coordinate full life cycle of U.S. recruitment (end-to-end); for a variety of positions and at all levels; in addition to other ad-hoc resourcing projects and initiatives for the U.S. region.

• Keep up to date on labor market trends and competitor information, providing business partners with insights and recommendations that will improve the quality of external hires. Build deep subject matter expertise in your portfolio to better forecast and influence hiring plans and decisions.

• Partner with HR Business Partners to effectively manage, negotiate, and provide oversight throughout the entire recruitment process for new hires.

• Act as a subject matter expert for U.S. recruiting metrics; manage and maintain candidate/applicant tracking databases, posting requirements; any on-line technology requirements; new hire tracking; etc.

• Direct and partner with administrative support throughout the interview and approval processes; prepare and review offer letters (global hiring practices are adopted where applicable).

• Liaise with internal HR immigration team where necessary.

• Coordinate onboarding activities.

Who You Are

• Minimum 5 years’ recruitment/sourcing experience (lateral experience required) in a high volume, fast paced corporate environment within the financial industry

• Outstanding client service orientation and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with all levels of management in a complex reporting matrix environment

• Strong interviewing and assessment skills

• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter

This role has an expected salary range of $70,000-$85,000 for the New York, NY market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component. Profil recherché :

Vous disposez de bonnes aptitudes en gestion de projets et de changements importants et de solides connaissances en droit du travail.
