Your new role
Reporting to the Gas Safety Manager and the Head of Technical, the Commercial Gas Supervisor will be responsible for the safe flow of gas across designated sites, managing the compliance of multiple LPG installations.
This role will see you ensure the requirements of the MOD Gas Safety Case are carried out and maintained to a high standard, ensure all gas works are fully compliant and in line with the requirements of JSP 375 Vol3 Ch8, and provide technical support to ensure gas works are completed compliantly.
You will support the effective and timely delivery of statutory, mandatory and reactive maintenance and gas-related projects, keep and maintain the Gas Safety Management Plan, records and update as required, assess the competence of Gas Skilled Persons for appointment and review experience and performance before re-appointment, and at other times as necessary, and ensure skilled persons are aware of any restrictions related to their work. Where necessary, you will be required to suspend the appointment of Skilled Persons.
You will also produce risk assessments, method statements and, where necessary, safety programmes and Gas Permits to Work to a high quality, reduce the number of corrective actions (CARs) raised and close existing CARs within agreed timescales, and lead by example across the contract by achieving objectives and consistently demonstrating the Company values.
What you'll need to succeedFirst and foremost, you will be a fully qualified and experienced Commercial Gas Engineer, with HND in Gas Engineering and SMSTS or equivalent qualifications.
You should have experience of supervising site operations, including managing staff, planning, directing and controlling activities and agreeing scope and priorities of work, with excellent communication skills and significant practical management experience in Safe Systems of Work.
You must have a gas background in either Gas Safe or Gas Utility Network competence, and be registered with Gas Safe or Energy Utility Skills Register or both.
Your COCN1, HTR1, CCN1, CODNCO1, ICPN1 certificates.

Receptionist/Administrator

Location: Camberley

Salary: £12.00 per hour

Temp to Perm: Full time - 35 hours per week

Week 1 - 3 days - Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 08.00 to 18.00

Week 2 - 4 days - Monday, Thursdays, Saturday & Sunday: 08.00 to 18.00

Tru Talent have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist/Administrator to work with a specialist Healthcare provider. You will be responsible for managing the front office, Reception and all Administrative tasks. This will include, handling all telephone calls, monitoring the digital reception signing in, completing orders for stationery and uniforms, scanning and filing. Their residents primarily have Dementia with an underlying mental health condition.

Responsibilities of the Receptionist/Administrator:

• Answer all telephone calls that come through to Reception
• Meet and greet all visitors maintaining a helpful and professional approach and maintaining a welcoming area
• Handle deliveries and inform the relevant person
• As requested, you may be required to create and amend staff rotas as well as booking and cancelling agency staff
• Completing orders such as; uniform, stationary, amazon and anything else requested by the General Manager and other departments
• Taking samples to the local surgery and pharmacy if and when required as well as collecting medication
• Manage the signing in book daily, making sure this is in place for each day and all visitors sign in and out
• Updating the internal HR/ clocking in system
• Raising purchase orders and filing accordingly
• Managing the staff lunch ordering book and spreadsheet
• Communicating with the team via People Planner messages, email, letters and through memos when required

Requirements of the Receptionist/Administrator:

• At least a years' experience of working in a Receptionist or Administration role
• A Driving license and vehicle due to a difficult location
• A minimum of two COVID-19 vaccinations
• Satisfactory provision on an enhanced DBS (provided once employed)
• Healthcare experience or transferable from another industry
• IT literate to include the use of Microsoft Office
