Graduate Training Programme: First 6 months

• Develop a core knowledge of how the business operates - warehouse, logistics, supply chain, administration, IT software, and marketing.
• Get hands-on with the vast product range and learn about different manufacturers and the electrical distribution industry.
• Start building relationships, making deals and advising customers face-to-face over the trade counter e.g. electricians, contractors and tradespeople.
• Begin your formal sales training course, staying overnight alongside other Graduate Trainees from across the company.
• Complete workbook assessments to underpin your learning and development and receive financial incentives for each one passed to a required standard.

6-12 months

• Move to internal sales account management, engaging with business customers over the phone e.g. construction companies, local government authorities, housing developers and hotels.
• Learn business development strategies and how to target and win new trading accounts.

12 months and beyond

• Progress to a diverse business-to-business field sales management position, with increased earning potential and bigger bonuses.
• Travel locally in your company car, meeting clients, discussing projects, and arranging social activities.
• Work towards running your own business in the group, learning about staff management, purchasing, profit and loss, etc. The business operates in a decentralised manner, allowing local managers to make informed decisions that drive the business forward.

- Undertake fee-earning responsibilities to support principal caseworkers.
- Support senior caseworkers working on progression and management of case files.
- Act as a fee earner undertaking tasks delegated by senior caseworkers.
- Comply with SQM (Specialist Quality Mark) and all internal transaction criteria and procedures.
- Assist and participate with training initiatives taken by the firm.
- Act as “next friend” and promote training initiatives of new recruits and promoted staff.
- Comply with the firm’s Office Manual.
- Maintain client confidentiality and legal professional privilege.
- Actively promote office relations with clients, their families and potential new clients (Public relations).

Personal Specification:-

Skills:

- Confident demeanour. Good oral and written communication. Grasp of legal procedures, court protocol and rules of evidence. Ability to record meticulously.
- Ability to attract clients and referrals. Understanding of costs awareness.

Knowledge:

- Successful completion of or undergoing part time LPC or SQE qualification.
- Understanding of Rules of Conduct and Client Confidentiality.

Experience:

- Work within practice, industry supplement to academic training.
- Computer or ICT familiarity. Dealing with the public

Due to continued success across our business, we have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Sales Advisor to join our Central sales team, working across developments based in Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire.

Full training will be provided in the form of a detailed training plan, which will include a variety of daily tasks in order to aid your knowledge and learning.

This is an exciting opportunity for a customer experience focused individual to join a fast-paced sales environment.

Support from the sales management and wider sales team will also be provided to ensure sales rates and targets are achieved, along with a full understanding of the home buying process.

During your time as our Trainee Sales Advisor, you will acquire the knowledge required in order to become a successful new homes Sales Advisor, with the opportunity to then earn commission once qualified.

Key duties and requirements

You will be responsible for but not limited to;

Assisting the Sales Advisor in achieving reservations.
Presenting and demonstrating the Avant product, show homes and optional extras.
Completing customer paperwork in alignment with Group policies and GDPR.
Assisting the Sales Advisor in managing third party working relationships.
Active involvement in marketing recommendations, in relation to advertising.
Providing updates to customers in relation to the progress of their home.
Building relationships with the onsite Construction teams.
Use of NHQC and also CRM/coins systems.
Providing assistance with the “street scene” ensuring the highest possible standard at all times.
Actively contact potential customers and sales leads in order to maximise sales where possible.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity working 35 hours per week, Thursday to Monday -including weekends.

The ideal candidate

To be successful as our Trainee Sales Advisor, you will have the ability to provide a first-class customer service. Excellent communication skills are key to success within this role, ensuring you fully understand our customers and listen to their needs.

We are keen to hear from individuals that may have worked in retail, hospitality or face-to-face sales.

As this is a mobile role, you could be based at any of our developments across the region, therefore a full UK driving licence and your own vehicle is essential.
