Job Title: Warehouse Assistant
Location : Norwich
HRGO Recruitment are seeking a diligent and reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods, as well as maintaining inventory and ensuring a clean and organised work space.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and check incoming stock against delivery notes
- Store goods in the designated storage areas
- Pick and pack orders for dispatch
- Ensure accuracy in inventory management by conducting regular stock counts
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
- Assist in fulfilling customer orders in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in a warehouse setting preferred
- Basic math and computer skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
