We are seeking a Senior Performance Analyst to join our Digital Data Team. This role is integral to providing business insights through data analysis and is ideal for someone with a passion for caring, connecting, and transforming lives through financial wellbeing services. The successful candidate will align with our core values and have the ability to lead and support junior analysts, manage complex projects, and contribute to our performance analysis community.
A senior performance analyst collects, organises and studies data to provide business insight. The senior performance analyst will work on complex and varied Data and Analytics projects across MaPS.
In this role you will be responsible for the following;
- Lead Performance Analytics workstreams from requirements gathering to testing and implementation.
- Manage and provide leadership, support, and direction to junior Data Analysts.
- Utilise a wide range of analytical tools and techniques to provide business insights.
- Develop and implement performance measurement frameworks, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct complex analysis and collaborate with other teams and analytical disciplines.
- Develop technical tools and techniques to aid in analysis.
- Ensure the accuracy, quality, and appropriate use of data and analysis.
you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience;
- Previous experience in performance analysis within public and/or private sector organisations.
- Team leader experience and the ability to work in Agile Delivery environments.
- Proficiency in a range of techniques to analyse data and provide insight.
- Strong communication skills to turn complex data into clear, compelling, and actionable stories.
- Deep understanding of business goals and the ability to translate these into tangible performance measures.
- Technical understanding of digital technology and its limitations.
- Experience in user-centred analysis and integrating digital analytics with qualitative data.
- Knowledge of verification and validation of data and analysis.
- Ability to work within constraints, prioritise, and mitigate challenges.
- Knowledge of security and data privacy.
- Adobe Analytics and/or Adobe Client Data Layer (ACDL) experience is desirable.
- Exposure to social media/listening channels such as Brandwatch is beneficial.

Hybrid working is a voluntary, noncontractual arrangement and your office will be your contractual place of work. The number of days that anyone will be able to work at home will be determined primarily by business needs, but personal and other relevant circumstances will also be considered. If you are successful, any opportunities for hybrid working, including whether a hybrid working arrangement is suitable for you, will be discussed with you prior to you taking up your post.
