Property Maintenance Account Manager | Fulham | Hours are nominally 8am - 5pm | £30,000 - £35,000

We are a long-established expanding property maintenance company that work with prime letting agents as well as private customers, we pride ourselves in delivering excellent customer service and were awarded ‘Best Property Maintenance Company’ in Greater London in 2018 and ‘Best Property Maintenance Company & Award for Excellence in Emergency Repairs’ in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.

Hours of work are nominally 8am - 5pm to be arranged in conjunction with the other Account Managers but for operational reasons may occasionally need to be flexible.

As with any small business, the applicant may also be required to undertake other duties in line with operational demands from time to time, as well as help other Account Managers during peak periods.

What will your role as a Property Maintenance Account Manager look like?

• Managing a given set of prime customer accounts
• Processing client works orders
• Coordinating the works/diaries of the (field-based) work force
• Ensuring that the utilisation of field operatives is optimised
• Ensuring that all jobs are reported, invoiced and collected with the minimal delay
• Dealing with problems and queries
• Growing the accounts by building rapport and strengthening relationships

This role is to lead the Engineering Team's activities to maintain and improve the reliability of the process. We are looking for someone who has worked in manufacturing before and has a proven track record.
Outline of key Responsibilities:

• Utilisation of the engineering team to carry out planned, scheduled and unplanned maintenance.
• Support/advise the Engineering Co-ordinator on the final planning of the Engineering Work Schedule.
• Plan engineering work prior to scheduling.
• Agree Maintenance plan with Production Planning.
• Follow the agreed schedule to complete planned engineering work.
• Attend daily production meetings.

We are seeking someone who has the ability to work within a team and lead that team on day-to-day duties. Experienced mechanical/electrical engineer working in an operational/ manufacturing/technical environment. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) and BTEC Higher qualified with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience. Able to identify areas of improvement within a team and to coach/ mentor to achieve required results. Demonstrate discretion and ensure confidentiality of system information.Ability to understand engineering based on KPI's, good communication skills, time management skills - ability to plan and execute work within agreed timescales, able to identify priority tasks and adjust own priorities to suit.

Your new role
As project manager you will be expected to manage time, cost and specification, health and safety, quality and environmental issues throughout delivery and closure of projects. In addition, you will manage the performance of third parties through contractual KPI's, EWN's and CE's, the development and execution of NEC contract strategies will ensure the successful delivery of projects. NEC 3/4 contracting and contract option clauses experience to successfully manage costs, financial forecasting and reporting, and tender and procurement. This role is remote with travel to sites. Therefore, it's essential you hold a full UK driving licence.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have a HNC/HND level qualification (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering or project management as you'll need to be able to interpret drawings, MTOs, quotations and construction plans. It will also be advantageous to have knowledge and experience of pipelines/above ground installations. Alongside strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills to maintain cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders.
