Your new role

You will be fully supported by the Head of IT and wider leadership teams, but will have full accountability for the infrastructure and, therefore, will be able to look back at the work achieved and feel a real sense of success and ownership. This role also offers hybrid working, with a requirement to only be on site when projects are being delivered, and you could therefore be based anywhere within a commutable distance from Merseyside. The role will also expand over the coming years, with future plans to recruit additional team members and management and leadership will therefore become a key part of this role.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, a strong background working in infrastructure specifically in the education sector would be beneficial, however the sector specific experience isn't essential. You must, however, have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft 365, with experience of enroling devices on InTune, constructing SharePoint sites and working on Group Policy. A real passion and desire for working in the education sector is essential, as well as the desire to further progress your knowledge and take on a more leadership role in the future as the team starts to grow.

- Dealing with any formal complaints from tenants and landlords in line with company policy and
- procedures.
- Taking ownership for the block, conducting regular walk throughs of the blocks and taking immediate action to put right any issues identified.
- Co-ordinating maintenance for properties including liaising with contractors and Landlords to ensure authorisation for work and the management of any associated invoices.
- Property Compliance
- Utility Management
- Management of the renewal process
- Processing end of tenancy notices including overseeing property check out inspections, authorising cleaning and repairs works, informing Landlords of any works required and obtaining authorisation, advising tenants of works completed post check out and ahead of deposit release.
- Dealing with Deposit returns, processing invoices to allocate to deposits, organising deposit release, keeping Landlords informed of process and dealing with deposit disputes and associated evidence.


What we need from you:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a student lettings environment.
- Proven track record in achieving lettings targets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including listening, establishing rapport and demonstrating the
- ability to manage complex issues in a calm and professional manner
- Strong IT and communication skills
- Excellent organisational, prioritisation and planning skills.
- Professional conduct and attitude to enhance the company’s reputation.
