Our client is an award-winning team specialising in high-quality retail display solutions across the UK and globally. Their mission is to ensure that ‘instore’ marketing campaigns are delivered on time and on budget, maximising their brand and consumer connections.
Our client is proud to partner with some of the world’s biggest brands, and due to significant business investment, we are expanding our Commercial Team to manage a specific Global FMCG brand as well as smaller developing accounts.
Responsibilities:
• Report to the Sales Director
• Research and identify potential business opportunities by analysing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
• Generate, develop, and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders through networking, meetings, social media, and presentations
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop strategies and materials that effectively promote products or services to potential customers
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform business development strategies
• Update the company CRM system to ensure transparency with the sales and senior management team
• Open doors with new clients to sell our services and reach pre-agreed targets in sales and margin
Requirements:
• Degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred but not essential
• Proven experience in a business development role, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar position
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with and build relationships with potential and existing clients
• Strategic thinker with a focus on driving results
• Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools
• Knowledge of marketing strategies such as digital marketing and social media platforms
• Ability to travel to meet with potential and existing clients, attend conferences or explore new markets
