As the Lead Delivery Manager, you will be an experienced professional who can lead a team of other delivery manager practitioners. There are currently four MaPS delivery managers, assigned to continuous improvement and project work in cross functional teams, who will report to you.

The Lead Delivery Manager will own the community of practice for the discipline at MaPS which also includes 3rd party colleagues. You will support professional development and continuous improvement of your community.

The Lead Delivery Manager will collaborate closely with peers in Technology, Change, Product, Engineering and User-Centred Design Teams to achieve our delivery goals and improve performance. You will also support in developing the digital maturity of the organisation.

You will be the Operational Contract Manager for MaPS Digital Delivery Partner and be responsible for the recruitment and onboarding of the right people to the right teams.

You will be asked to work with other lead roles to promote effective cross-functional delivery. You will be a skilled team leader who can confidently communicate the value of the role to digital and non-digital stakeholders and be credible and influential across departments.

• Lead a team of Delivery Managers, providing them with frequent feedback and coaching to support their development needs.

Role details;

• Work with the Senior Product Lead and the Product team to ensure that delivery teams are operating as effectively as possible.

• Adopt a forward look at roadmaps and plans and adjust the delivery strategy accordingly in order to migrate risks and establish confidence.

• Work with the Chief of Development to manage our 3rd party suppliers and to ensure MaPS receives an exceptional level of service and high level of collaboration.

• Engage with Change and Planning colleagues to implement and shape the digital teams that are required to support MaPS strategic objectives.

• Support Programme and Project Managers in reporting and delivering against their plans.

• Present to large and small groups on Delivery Management and champion the work of the community.

• You will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and an authentic leader for your team and within the Technology and Change directorate.

• The Lead Delivery Manager will be adept at building relationships across directorates and managing Stakeholders.

• An important part of the role is communicating between technical and non technical colleagues and enabling the team to do the same.

• You will be comfortable operating in an environment where many of the teams are blended to include MaPs and supplier colleagues – ie. “rainbow” teams.

• The Lead Delivery Manager will have a good understanding of the Product Lifecycle as it applies to government organisations and will have a passion for process improvement to drive efficiency in teams.

You will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience;

• 4 years+ experience leading Agile teams throughout the product lifecycle (must be certified in Agile).

Role Overview

As Security Engineer, Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst at Money and Pensions Service (MaPS), you will be responsible for supporting the Cyber Security Manager and the Identity and Access Manager with cybersecurity and IAM operations, continuous service improvement and identity management, protecting the organisation’s cloud technology platforms, data and identities.

The post holder will ensure that best practices for cybersecurity and IAM are implemented and documented, and that the organisation is compliant with regulatory and audit requirements.
Duties include managing the operational security and IAM toolsets including MIMECast, Windows Defender, Symantec WSS, Tenable and Microsoft Office 365 Security and Compliance, Intune and JAMF for MAC security, Entra ID and Okta.

The role will embed regular reporting of the security and IAM performance of the technology infrastructure and report on exceptions or breaches of policies and procedures.
This position will be working with colleagues across the organisation, including an outsourced managed security operations centre and provide cover for the Cyber Security Manager and Identity Manager.

As Senior Solutions Architect at Money and Pensions Service (MaPS), you will be responsible for developing solutions to specified requirements and to agreed level of quality. This will include integrations into other technologies in order to deliver the required user experience.

You will collaborate with other team members including Product Owner, Delivery Manager, Architect and Test Engineer, and you will develop a deep understanding of MaPs IT capabilities and coach others and lead multiple architecture projects or programmes.

The overall MaPS architecture includes – AEM, React, React.JS, D365, Power Platform, .Net, JavaScript, Azure functions, Azure DevOps Tooling and more.

Role Overview
The Pension Support Coordinator will report directly to Pensions Operations Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Triage incoming calls from customers, using fact-finding skills to assess their needs leading to the provision of straight-forward pensions guidance, signposting them to the most appropriate service ensuring they get the right guidance at the right time, or booking the appropriate appointment based on their needs.
• Interact with our customers assisting with appointment booking enquiries, modifications, and cancellations.
• Respond proactively to customer demand, working to agreed service delivery standards.
• Provide timely and accurate follow up information when required, that adds value to the services provided and is clear and easy to understand.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our service through ad hoc project work

Attend meetings and workshops etc., within the scope of the role.

Skills and Experience Required
To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

• An awareness of the importance of retirement planning
• An awareness of when and how the State pension can be claimed and the basis upon which it’s calculated
• An awareness of pension scams and their implications on retirement planning
• A commitment to on-going personal and professional development; we may require you to undertake training within the scope of the role
• Experience of dealing with members of the public
• Excellent spoken communication skills and ability to translate complex ideas and topics into plain language
