Due to an increasing workload, RPS is seeking to recruit a Project Engineer to join our Waste and Resource Management team in the UK and Ireland with flexibility on location. Duties may require travelling throughout the UK and Ireland.

The Waste and Resource Management Team within RPS is currently involved with a number of Waste Infrastructure, Civil Engineering and Building developments. What you’ll be doing:

Engineering design for Civil Engineering projects
Environmental Monitoring
Site Supervision
Project Management of landfill remediation projects
Preparing technical and progress reports;
Attending client and design team meetings;
Preparing presentations;
Managing financial budgets of job tasks.
Liaising with other members of the Waste and Resource Management Team to deliver an effective service to our clients
Supporting senior staff in business development activities
Who we’re looking for

Experience in leading the civil engineering site development design projects
Familiarity with the requirements of the planning system with regards civil design
Experience in leading the civil engineering design projects in the environmental sector
Experience in leading design teams and manage project delivery
Experience in project management
Planning and control of technical resources to deliver projects on time and to budget
Excellent Communications skills, with the ability to communicate with clients and other professionals
Good interpersonal skills, both on an individual and team level
A full driving licence
BEng/MEng Honours degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant Environmental discipline (Masters degree would be an advantage).
Desirable

Suitable experience in Waste and Resource Management or other related works including site experience and contract administration
Experience working on landfill projects including engineering, environmental monitoring and operational support
Chartered Engineer

Warehouse Shift Leader - Belfast - £23,790

The Position

• This is a full-time permanent position based at our customers distribution centre in Belfast
• Rate of pay: £23,790 per annum
• Shift patterns: 5 days out of 7, Shifts between: 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm
• Weekly hours: 37.5 hours plus daily 30-min unpaid break

You will be required to:

• Manage stock accuracy levels within the depot and stock loaded into trailers against drivers' paperwork and check the accuracy of incoming deliveries.
• Delivery Checker's will be confident in their ability to add and subtract without the use of a calculator

• The ability to communicate well, both written and verbally
• Ensure your own and the team's KPI's are met
• Perform and document weekly supervision with each team member

Key Responsibilities:

* Take ownership, action and case manage all activities ("To-Dos" and journal) within Claim such as change of circumstances, payment deductions and all associated administrative functions for your caseload, which includes handling telephony and notifying colleagues where appropriate.

* Put in place and maintain Northern Ireland Payment Flexibilities where necessary.

* Assist and coach claimants in creating and maintaining their online claims

* Manage payments accurately in each assessment period, action returned payments, stop issued payments which have not yet been paid, replace 5 payments where necessary and process the payments of arrears / underpayments.

* Maintain the security and integrity of claimant information through appropriate use of IT, adherence with identity verification, Data Sharing processes and system security protocols.

Due to the nature of the training, full attendance is important during the training period, noncompliance may lead to your assignment being ended early. Emergency leave will be considered on a case-by-case bases.

This is a long-term assignment, successful candidates will remain office based for the first 6 months of the assignment, the option to work from home may become available after 6 months and depending on performance.

MAIN PURPOSE
To assist the Dispute Resolution Manager, to deliver a comprehensive and consistent approach to Construction Dispute Resolution, proactively managing and leading on various matters with key stakeholders including the client and contractor(s) as required to bring solutions and resolve issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Dispute Resolution Management

• To assist the Dispute Resolution Manager, to deliver a comprehensive and consistent approach to Construction Dispute Resolution, proactively managing and leading on various matters with key stakeholders including the client and contractor(s) as required to bring solutions and resolve issues.
• To support the Dispute Resolution Manager in the day to day operation and management of the Unit.
• To assist with influencing and seeking to resolve various matters that are in dispute with the parties involved through the processes and procedures under the contract, and via alternative dispute resolution means, attempting to reduce potential litigation's where possible, supported by legal partners where required.
• To liaise with colleagues in understanding Contract disputes needs, supporting the Dispute Resolution Manager in advising on appropriate routes to resolution, working alongside external panel solicitors where

• To work with others in the organisation to obtain contract information for preparing clear and accurate information to manage the issues referred to the Dispute Resolution unit, to protect the interests of the pursuance of contractual disputes, including those arising from adjudication, arbitration, litigation, insolvencies, and terminations.
