Salary: Basic Salary up to £37,000 OTE £55,000 (Generous Achievable Uncapped Bonus scheme)
Hours: Monday to Friday - 7:30am - 5:00pm, plus 1 Saturday per month

We are currently recruiting for a Multi skilled Mobile Bodyshop Technician working for our client in the Nottingham area. Must be able to do MET / Panel / SMART roles.

Mobile Repair Technician role:

• Carrying out all repair work required on the vehicles
• Making sure the vehicle is fixed to a high standard and meets all safety requirements.
• Assessing work needed on the vehicle as to whether it should be repaired or whether a new part is needed Recognising and documenting an additional work required
• Flat the surface and apply primer followed by the topcoat of paint followed by the lacquer then polish to a finish

Mobile Repair Technician Requirements:

• You will ideally be qualified to NVQ level 3 or the City and Guilds equivalent, although time served Vehicle painters, SMART Repairers, Preppers with relevant experience are encouraged to apply
• The client will provide any equipment that is standard to all bodyshops. Bodyshop painters, panel beater and preppers who fit the above criteria are encouraged to apply
• Good understanding of bodyshop procedures

• Supporting the Resourcing team to ensure a diverse and inclusive workforce including coaching and supporting managers in interviewing

• Ensuring all HR processes are optimised to drive efficiencies and improve cost control
• Contributing to the wider HR team to ensure that best practice is shared/processes aligned
• Supporting managers succession planning and talent management including the development of Graduates, Higher Apprentices & Apprentices
• Ensuring that all absence and sickness is managed and recorded correctly by line managers, in line with Company Policy and provide HR KPI reports and management information as required

The role will form part of a National HR Team, ensuring that through collaborative working that best practice is shared and the wider Tarmac people agenda is driven forward.

The ideal candidate for the role of HR Advisor will be CIPD qualified or working towards an accreditation for Associate level membership and will possess working knowledge of Employment Law along with the ability to implement this in practical situations.

Suitable candidates for the role of HR Advisor will also have:

• Proven stakeholder management skills at all levels
• Ability to coach, influence and challenge appropriately
