We are looking for an experienced full-time administrator to join our friendly team. IT is at the heart of the role and the main responsibilities are below.
Main Responsibilities (but not limited to):
* Data entry using Microsoft Excel, Word, and a variety of in-house software packages.
* Produce reports and letters using bespoke software.
* Accurately adding new clients to our CRM system and amending client details.
* Assist with social media and marketing.
* Managing the company email inbox.
* Greeting clients and visitors on arrival.
* Receiving and dealing with telephone calls, taking accurate messages, and actioning as necessary.
* Deal with answer machine messages.
* Processing client disbursements.
* Provide administrative support for the whole Company including typing letters, reports, accounts, and other documents.
* Receiving, recording, and distributing incoming mail. Ensuring outgoing mail is recorded, franked, and sent appropriately.
* Managing the register for client records.
* Taking card payments for client invoices.
* Jointly responsible for off-site archive records.
* Photocopying, scanning, and filing as required.
* Joint Fire Officer and First Aider (training will be provided).
* Other duties as requested, including covering colleague's roles when absent.

* 2 years + admin experience is essential.
* GCSE English and Maths grade 4 + (or equivalent). An IT qualification is desirable.

Your new role
You will report directly to the Head of Group Health, Safety and Environment and your key duties and responsibilities will be primarily to drive H&S standards, strategies and procedures across the business, and a collaborative safety culture. You'll be supporting the project teams with guidance and the processes required to maximise H&S across their sites and provide regular updates of site issues to the EHS Team. You will support site management, assist in resolving any issues as well as attend meetings and audits.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll have a strong background in driving the highest standards of H&S within a construction environment, and will ideally have experience of working for a main contractor. You must be able to build rapport with site project teams, so you must be a strong communicator, have excellent leadership skills and be successful at driving H&S strategies, policies and procedures across live sites.
A background in the construction industry is essential. Previous knowledge of audits is desirable.

Your new roleYour new role will be as a senior site engineer on a £36m housing project. You will be responsible with all aspects of engineering duties including setting out, managerial responsibilities, quality control, supervising subcontractors, HSEQ, progress reporting, measuring / ordering materials, managing labour and reporting to the Contracts Manager.

As you are taking a senior role within the project you will be expected to monitor and supervise work and ensure proper practice is taking place. You will be essential in the successful completion of this project, and you will work alongside the site manager to achieve project success.


What you'll need to succeedPrevious site engineering experience and a qualification in a construction related field will be essential for this role. Experience within the build sector and previous civil projects will be highly desirable.
Technical knowledge of setting out duties as well as interpreting architectural drawings and then practically applying these drawings to the day-to-day operations on site will be required. Attention to detail will help you to ensure the project is completed to an excellent standard. Proficient time management and organisational skills will help you day to day. As the Quantity Surveyor your duties and responsibilities will include:

What you'll need to succeed :In order to be successful in this role, you will have prior experience of working as a Quantity Surveyor at pre construction stage for a construction company or have solid experience and be ready to take a step into a more senior role. This role would require you to have strong negotiation skills to work with subcontractors and clients to reach positive commercial terms and minimise any commercial risks to the business. You must have good technical knowledge and skills in the construction sector and a good knowledge of commonly used contracts and frameworks. Ideally, you will hold a formal qualification in quantity surveying at degree level. However, candidates will be considered with HND/ HNC qualifications and relevant experience.
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

• A degree/HND or equivalent in Commercial Management/Quantity Surveying or other construction related subject or substantial previous experience in a similar position
• A commercially and contractually astute individual that takes ownership of performance
• A proactive person with a disposition to take action pre-emptively to manage risk and opportunity
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Results driven with the capability of working on their own initiative
• Ability to deal with large amounts of data accurately and efficiently
• High attention to detail
