Mobile Warehouse Stock Auditor - Scotland - £24,082

The position

• This full-time permanent position,you will be responsible for driving around the region based in and around Scotland to complete audits on deliveries.
• Rate of pay: £24,082 per annum
• Weekly hours: 37.5 hours plus 30 min unpaid break
• Shift patterns: 5 days out of 7, 8-hour shifts between 00:00-00:00
• Working Environment: Ambient
• Full Driving License and access to your own transport is essential

A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Operative

As a Mobile Accuracy Checker, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in what can be described as a fast-paced and target driven environment to ensure the stock entering our customer store is accurate.

Job activities

• Audit the Inbound accuracy of multiple supplier deliveries at customer store level.
• Audit Picker accuracy of stock arriving at stores and fully investigate all errors found.
• Adhere to agreed audit and error verification procedures at all times.
• Maintain integrity at all times.
• Ensure the expected productivity levels are achieved, in line with customer expectations.
• Review daily targets in line with customer expectations.

Job specifics

• Able to actively respond to both verbal instructions and audible warning devices
• The ability to communicate well, both written and verbally.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• You will be confident in their ability to add and subtract without the use of a calculator.
• Full Driving License and access to your own transport
• All work may require prolonged periods of standing and all employees will be required to kneel, bend and squat in order to access and work with low and ground level stock.

Your new role
The main purpose of the role is to manage the delivery of a high-quality factoring service that meets the identified needs of customers in accordance with the required local offers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the day-to-day running of the factoring team, including line management of staff.
• Issuing invoices and dealing with factored properties, including billing and assisting with communal repairs.
• Managing all complaints about the service area in line with policy.
• Liaising with factored owners on communal repairs.
• Managing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery.

What you'll need to succeed

• Excellent knowledge of factoring legislation, debt recovery, arrears, and repairs.
• SVQ3 in a relevant area.
• Institute of Housing qualification.
• Proven experience of delivering high-quality factoring services.
• Proven experience of managing staff.
• Occasional travel may be required, so a full valid driving licence is essential.

Your new company

A well-known transportation organisation in the Strathaven area is working with Hays to find a candidate who will join them as a Payroll administrator. This individual will join the team on a permanent contract. The position is office based for the first couple of months until competent to work hybrid 3 days in office 2 at home. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5 pm with flexible working. On-site parking is available.

Your new role

In your new role you will be responsible for; end to end payroll, monthly payroll runs, analysing data, checking for variances, performing reports back to management, bank journals, reconciliation of payroll accounts, administration of year-end returns and making payments to third parties. Dealing with sundry payroll matters such as p45/p60 experience within CIS and P11Ds would be beneficial.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed in the role, you will have relevant experience in a similar role within payroll and be a proficient user of Excel. You will also be able to work to tight deadlines on your own and as part of a team. You will be experienced at running both weekly and monthly payrolls.
