Purpose of the role:

* To produce technical drawings and designs in line with the company philosophy of practicality and cost effectiveness
* To produce manufacturing drawings to a standard acceptable to Contractors, Suppliers within agreed time programme
* To represent the company to outside agencies (Clients, Suppliers and Sub-contractors) as and when required


Key activities:

* Report at least weekly to the Design Studio Manager during the design studio meeting to plan workload
* Effectively design and produce accurate and detailed drawings with clear information at all times to agreed programme with Design Studio Manager and in accordance with design studio procedure handbook
* Develop a brief with the client where applicable, and confirm this brief in writing and forward to client
* Be aware of design issues through manufacturing and to be responsible for developing and delivering prototypes to a high standard to meet with a specified design brief
* Liaise with the buying department during process, but manage prototype process with multiple customers, absorb feedback and implement required changes on future projects
* Liaise with project management / buying in order to maintain a practical and cost effective equipment design
* Produce technical drawing packages up to the standard required by the company and of sufficient detail to convey all points of the design to the client/supplier/manufacturer - this should also include presentation to the client
* Utilise the company's 2D & 3D CAD software, to the best of its capabilities
* Maintain CAD and associated files on the internal systems and carry out housekeeping on a weekly basis
* Adhere to the companies procedure for creating, superseding and maintaining digital files
* Keep up-to-date with current manufacturing techniques and technology in all areas in which the company is involved
* Make and keep commitments when asked to do so and work with other members of staff in a positive and progressive
* Meet with suppliers, maintain their information in the design studio library, and ensure that all relevant information is retained for access for all members of the studio
* Ensure that the drawing register and issue sheets are maintained at all times
* Be responsible for the upkeep of design office consumables
* Be aware of and ensure that equipment designs produced satisfy the Health and Safety & CDM 2007 regulations / British Standards and their effect on the designed environment

* Save down and print as required by the internal teams the drawings sent through to the design studio


Requirements:

* Product Design qualification
* Extensive experience in manufacturing techniques, products and technical drawing
* 5 GCSE grades C/4 O Levels equivalent, including English

Your new role
Payroll Specialist, office-based working 37 hours per week on a 12-month FTC. More flexibility may become available once familiar with colleagues and duties.
What you'll need to succeed
For the Payroll Specialist role, the candidate will be required to undertake the following:

• Run payroll for the business on a weekly/monthly basis, as required
• Maintain the payroll processing system
• Manage payroll queries via email and telephone
• Payroll review covering all employees
• Management reporting on payroll
• P45/60 requirements
• Pension requirements
• Maternity/Paternity schedules and payments, along with sick pay calculations
• Discrepancy investigation

Should you have had previous exposure to Access (Payroll System) this would be of great benefit, but not critical to requirements.
Previous education sector experience is desired by the client.
What you'll get in return
In return for undertaking this role, the starting salary is between £29,269 and £31,364pa depending on experience. There is a generous holiday allowance and benefits package on offer.The role is 5 days a week in the office and all year round, but should you have a preference for term-time only plus 2 weeks or even school hours working due to other commitments, these will be considered, but this is not a part-time role.

Finance Officer, office-based working 37 hours per week. More flexibility may become available after probation if required/requested.
What you'll need to succeed
For the Finance Officer role, the candidate will be required to undertake the following:

• Deliver on PO requisitions, raising PO's and invoice management
• Weekly BACS payment runs
• Income management
• Utilising ParentPay
• Reconciliation of payments, cash and credit cards
• General financial administration
• Frequent liaison with Finance Manager
• Department mailbox management
• Ensurance of SoDA compliance

Should you have had previous exposure to Access (Payroll System) this would be of great benefit, but not critical to requirements.

In return for undertaking this role, the starting salary is between £25,119 and £26,421pa depending on experience. There is a generous holiday allowance and benefits package on offer.

Job Role: Site Consultant
Reports to: Cluster Manager
Hours: Average of 40 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days.
Location: Swindon / Didcot

Introduction & Job Purpose

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an On-Site Recruitment Consultant looking to take their next step and join the team at Challenge-trg.

Working on site at our clients in Swindon and covering another site in Didcot. You will manage the complete candidate experience from registration right through to shift allocation, making sure we retain our quality staff. You will need to build a strong relationship with the shift leaders and the agency colleagues to meet the clients' requirements.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Recruitment & Induction of new agency employees
• Attend daily meetings with the client's team managers to agree requirements.
• Complete shift bookings
• Complete payroll, holiday bookings and other admin tasks
• Complete floor walks to check H&S and hygiene procedures are being followed.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• Self-motivated, ambitious and target driven.
• Good understanding of Excel & Word (preferred but not essential)
• Excellent communicator who can build strong relationships.
• Able to work in a high-pressured environment.
• Willing to learn.
• Own vehicle essential.
