This role is part of the ongoing Workforce Intelligence & Talent Acquisition (WITA) transformation in the Asia North and South clusters. The Technology Product Lead is a senior management level position responsible for shaping how the new organization influences, manages, and delivers on recruiting strategies for the Technology business segment within the Asia North and South clusters. The overall objective of this role is to develop, implement and provide recruiting activities in support of the business strategy.
This role is a member of the Global O&T WITA leadership team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed recruiting strategy and initiatives to support the aggressive hiring needs of the business
- Lead the Technology recruiting function in the design and implementation of strategically focused recruiting plans and practices
- Drive Diversity initiatives and ensure DE&I becomes an integral part of the talent acquisitions process
- Responsible for delivering results across diversity KPI’s including slates and ensuring the business is also well aligned to the year-on-year increase in the diversity head count goals.
- Work with business team to facilitate diversity slate processed as well as promote and manage internal mobility processes
- Manage, lead, coach and mentor a high performing team of recruitment professionals and serve as technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a proven track record of transformational leadership
- Proactively working with the business heads, will be responsible for building the capacity planning and resource allocation for the team
- Play an advisory role to the business heads and global stakeholders and educate them on the competitive landscape, market and talent dynamics, which will enable them to make the appropriate business decisions
- Serve as primary point of contact with senior business leaders and Human Resources (HR) partners, such as HR Advisors and Compensation
- Manage sensitive and confidential matters, resolve complex issues via influence, and work directly with business heads and Managing Directors to fill key positions and senior level roles
- Boost outcomes through visibility and focus on data driven decisions and identify process enhancement opportunities to enhance the candidate and recruiting experience
- Manage relationships, negotiate contracts, and serve as point of contact for both retained and contingency search firms
- Utilize social media to build upon established network of function/business areas as well as introduce talent to managers for future hiring needs
- Provide reporting and analytics to drive business decisions around hiring
- Oversee the provision of high-quality market intelligence (i.e., organizational structure, scope of positions in competing companies, compensation, benefits information, market trends, key moves)
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in talent acquisition, ideally coupled with broad HR knowledge
- Has deep knowledge and demonstratable track record of the Technology hiring landscape across Asia
- Knowledge of Asia markets ,and especially across India and Philippines. Global hiring experience is desirable.
- Strong strategic thinking skills to identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities and have the ability to create strategic options for addressing problems/opportunities and achieving desired outcomes.
- Expert user of a range of influencing styles and influencing skills, a strong track record of building strong relationships with senior leaders and multiple stakeholder groups
- Proven and respected leader who raises the bar and empowers others to perform
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial spirit
- Possess a global mindset and demonstrated experience operating internationally across large, highly matrixed organizations
