An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and passionate Field Technical Specialist to support our Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM). This is a Sydney based role.
Reporting to the Field Technical Services Area Manager, this position is responsible for providing the technical expertise and support to clinicians and the Territory Managers.
This role will work within a team of very capable and passionate individuals committed to getting the best outcomes for the patients and the customers that we serve.
Your responsibilities include (and not limited to):
Completing the Array and CRT product certifications: pre-course reading and online training, attending didactic training and complete course exams
Attending field visits to observe device implants and checks with colleagues
Supporting implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators & CRT devices at the direction of your Manager
Conducting and providing technical support and advice at post op follow ups and clinics
Developing a clear understanding of sales force effectiveness (SFE) imperatives by undertaking sales skills training and engaging with territory managers to better understand the key objectives designed to drive business growth
Developing and servicing key customer groups; identifying customer needs and communicating these to appropriate Territory Manager
Conducting education/training to hospital staff
Maintaining and updating product knowledge including actively participating in internal and external training sessions
Commencing education towards IBHRE certification
Assisting with product marketing and launches
Who we’re looking for:
Tertiary qualifications in biomedical / engineering / medical science / human movement or related field (Coronary Care Nursing/Cardiac Technician) is essential
Experience in an identical role within CRM is highly advantageous, however, significant experience in a cath lab as a cardiac nurse or cardiac technician will be considered
Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills; be customer focused and empathetic
Concisely and clearly communicate with the ability to articulate technical/clinical information
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office suite
Flexibility for some regional travel is required, with the need to travel interstate on occasion
Due to the inherent requirements of the role, the preferred candidate must provide evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination before the commencement date and maintain a fully vaccinated status for the period of employment.
