Position Description: System Analyst
Australian Meat Group is looking for a System Analyst to join our Dandenong production team on a full time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday. Reporting to the Logistic and Documentation Manager. As a System Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our current BSM (BUY-SELL-MOVE) system, a fully automated Export documentation system.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the existing BSM system to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with internal users and external stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
Liaise with users to track additional requirements and features to suits the business requirements.
Work closely with software providers to facilitate necessary customizations aimed at enhancing the current system's capabilities.
Manage the coordination and implementation of software changes to meet specified requirements.
Conduct thorough testing of program changes to validate their functionality and integrity before deployment in the production environment.
Ensure a seamless transition by identifying and mitigating potential issues during the testing phase.
Provide ongoing assistance to users, addressing issues related to system operations.
Collaborate with the support team to troubleshoot any technical challenges faced by users.
Stay informed about current technical developments relevant to the BSM system.
Proactively explore opportunities to enhance the system's efficiency through the integration of emerging technologies.
Key skills and experience required includes:
Examine and evaluate current system (BSM “BUY-SELL -MOVE – Fully automated Export documentation system)
Identify system requirements to meet internal users/external stake holder's needs.
Liaise with users to track additional requirements and features to suits the business requirements.
Collaborate with software provider/s to arrange required customizations to enhance the current system capabilities.
Validate changes by testing programs (system changes) prior put into production environment.
Assist users on the operation of system and provide support.
Stay up to date with current technologies and technical developments.
Skill level commensurate with a bachelor’s degree or higher; and
At least five years of relevant experience and/or relevant vendor certification.
Remuneration:
This is subject to your skills, qualifications and experience but it would be within a salary range of between $60,000 - $70,000 per annum + superannuation.
