Carbon60 are looking to hire General Catering Assistants and Catering Managers to work on a mobile basis covering multiple schools in Staffordshire / Walsall and the Surrounding areas.

Location: Staffordshire / Walsall and Surrounding Areas - Mobile (Driving is essential)

Contract: Permanent - 39 weeks per year (plus annual leave)- Term time only

Hours: 20 per week

Salary: Catering Assistants - £10.42-£11.00 Per Hour
Catering Managers £13.00 - £15.00 per hour

The Role:

• Food preparation and production for large numbers of meals per day with support from your chef and kitchen assistants.
• Managing a small team, setting standards, and motivating the team to follow your lead.
• Ordering and controlling stock including weekly stock takes.
• Weekly reporting of figures with financial analysis and planning.
• Ensuring the kitchen team are following all company policies and procedures.
• Managing the HACCP and COSHH documentation and completing on daily, weekly and term basis.
• Ensuring the kitchen is compliant with all legal regulations for food and health and safety.
• Holding monthly staff meetings with you team and working with your team to promote best practice.
• Uniform provided
• Duty meal available

The Successful Candidate:

• Previous Catering Experience
• Experience in book-work
• Computer literate
• Experience with cash handling and a knowledge of cashless systems.
• Someone who works well under pressure.
• Must be a team player.
