GI Pro are working in partnership with an aerospace company, based in Leicester. Who are one of the world's largest manufactures of nuts, bolts and fasteners, their products are being used worldwide in airframe, aero-engine, and space for companies such as Airbus and Rolls Royce.
Job description: CNC Turner Programmer
- Fanuc programming and setting CNC machines across unit 2
- Working with a blind fastener project team in producing 1 offs, DOE batches and small production runs, development parts on 2 axes fanuc CNC Lathes
- Working from engineering drawings
- Creation of inspection plans and programming of mechanised inspection methods
- Process optimisation to optimise products.
Ideal candidate: CNC Turner Programmer
- Experience with Fanuc CNC lathe programming with macro knowledge
- Good understanding of machining speed and feed for aerospace
- Good understanding of cutting tools
- Preferred knowledge of CAD. CAM. AutoCAD and solid works.
