Our client is a successful wholesaler / manufacturer of Food products. Due to growth Manucomm are now seeking a Technical Administrator / Technical Assistant to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company in a day based role. You will need to be an excellent communicator, with attention to detail and have a passion for technical to be successful in this role.
The role of the Technical Assistant will involve:
·Micro sampling collecting to include collecting water samples and micro swabbing. (weekly)
·Filing and trending micro reports
·Printing Forms for all production and kitchen areas
·Monitor Goods in reports
·Processing certificates of conformance to customers of our ingredients business
·Update specifications regularly and notify Production team and customers
·Glass and brittle plastic audits (weekly)
·GMP audits and follow ups (weekly)
·QC Daily Checklist
·Filling and checking all production paperwork
·Hygiene audits (monthly)
·Work with the maintenance team to ensure ongoing tasks and non-conformances are actioned in a punctual manner
·Work closely with our pest control provider to ensure effective control is delivered on site
·Assistance to the group H&S team for required on site tasks
·You will work on supplier approval
Technical Assistant Qualifications:
HACCP Level 2
Experience working within a Food/ Drink production environment is beneficial
Methodical and logical with attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as being part of the technical team
