CNC Machinist / Programmer
Location: Elgin, IV30 6AF.
Salary: £40,000.00 - £45,000.00 a year dependent on experience.
Contract: Full time, permanent.
Philip Engineering are a well-established company manufacturing an extensive range of machined components for a range of industries including Distilling and Oil & Gas.
Due to continued growth, we are now recruiting for a CNC Machinist / Programmer to join our team.
CNC Machinist / Programmer - Responsibilities:
* Read engineering drawings.
* Select the correct tooling and holding devices for manufacture.
* Ensure tooling and gauging are maintained to a high quality.
* Most work is 1 offs or small batches.
What we need from you:
* You will be a time served machinist capable of programming and operating Hurco and XYZ CNC Lathes and Milling Machines
* Ability to read engineering drawings. essential
* Confident at explaining programmes and for different CNC machines
* Confident, able to work fast and under pressure
* Ensures consistent quality - attention to detail very important
