Role: Data Team Developer
We’re looking for a Data Team Developer to join our Data Team to provide support with all things data. The Data Team Developer will act as a technical bridge, connecting the Data Team, Finance Team and IT Team.
Additionally, the Data Team Developer supports the Data Management Team with funding rules, system use, improving access to reporting, provider data self-assessment reports (DSATs), and financial monitoring assurance reports (FRMs). The Data Team Developer will also provide support with process improvements and provide line management support and training where required.
Duties will include:
Working with the Finance Team to enhance reporting, streamline processes, and utilise systems effectively.
Collaborating with the IT Team to initiate the development of Sharepoint sites and transitioning the Data Team towards using Microsoft products for enhanced data accessibility.
Leading DSATs and FRMs reviews.
Assisting with QAR data, reviewing, presenting, and implementing necessary process improvements.
Assisting the Head of Data and Compliance in the development and creation of reports.
Aiding the Head of Data and Compliance in creating a system for the Company to access reporting.
Taking the lead in promoting company-wide comprehension of the MI system - preparing and conducting appropriate training sessions.
Covering for the Data Manager during periods of absence to ensure uninterrupted workflow within the Team.
What we’re looking for:
Expertise in data management, finance, and IT, with a strong understanding of their interdependencies. Proficient in generating and interpreting reports, coupled with the ability to analyse data effectively.
In-depth knowledge of data self-assessment reports (DSATs) and financial monitoring assurance reports (FRMs).
Understanding of Qualification Achievement Rates (QAR).
Strong understanding of the Apprenticeship Service.
Ideally previous experience within line management, with the ability to train, manage and motivate a team.
