Randstad CPE is working with a leading national FM provider who are looking for an experienced Head of Mobile Engineering to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a national role therefore you must be willing to travel to various sites across the UK.
You will provide technical leadership for multiple contracts across the UK with a bias in mechanical/ electrical and fabric.
Drawing upon your previous experience leading mobile engineering teams within the FM sector, you will lead day to day operational delivery, in partnership with the existing team.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensuring that service delivery is statutory compliant and completed in line with contractual commitments.
* Monitoring first fix times for all engineers to determine training/development and performance management needs.
* Primary client liaison for all general queries and escalations
* Conduct monthly team meetings
* To maximise productivity and utilisation of engineering resource ensuring tablet technology is utilised by all engineers at all times to maximise efficiencies and reporting metrics.
* Take responsibility for carrying out regular audits to ensure that quality of works, both PPM & Reactive, are implemented to the highest standards.
* Undertake regular audits of specialist subcontractor services to ensure contract compliance and quality of service; value for money
To be considered you will have the following experience:
* Engineering degree or equivalent
* Knowledge of critical environment management and processes
* Excellent working knowledge and understanding of architectural, electrical and mechanical systems
* Experience of delivering exceptional customer service by self and through others
* Experience in the management of team of Supervisors and Service engineers providing planned and preventative maintenance service to clients Knowledge and understanding of hard services cost models and P&L responsibility.
* Proven financial acumen essential with commercial experience and business acumen
