Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Human Resources to join our team and lead the establishment and management of our HR department. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and procedures that align with our organizational goals and promote a positive workplace culture. The Head of HR will oversee all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the establishment and development of the HR department, including designing organizational structure, processes, and systems.
• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's objectives and promote a positive work environment.
• Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating new hire orientation.
• Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of all employees.
• Implement performance management systems to set clear expectations, provide feedback, and evaluate employee performance.
• Design and deliver training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies and support career growth.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary benchmarking, incentive plans, and employee recognition initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations and maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
• Collaborate with senior management to provide HR insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 10 or more years of experience in HR leadership roles, with a proven track record of setting up and managing HR departments.
• Deep knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and credibility at all levels of the organization.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into HR initiatives and programs.
• Results-oriented with a focus on driving continuous improvement and delivering measurable outcomes.
• HR certification (e.g., IHRP) preferred.
