In your role as a pre-sales press specialist, you will be sharing expertise and practical knowledge of HP´s Graphics Solutions Business technology and product portfolio to PSPs, brands, marketing agencies and convertors to highlight the power and added value of HP’s digital printing solutions. You’ll be the technical focal and reference point for any questions related to medias, printing, Primers, HP Indigo technology and finishing towards customers as well as inside the HP organization.
Your understanding of the printing market will help to develop new applications and drive the transformation from conventional to digital printing.
If you’re passionate in the print market, you will play an essential role in the success of our business by developing strategies for optimal results.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Thorough understanding of printing principles, theories and concepts
Perform face-to-face and/or virtual product presentations to customers
Total customer experience deployment: ensure that all customers have a pleasant experience visiting and working with the Experience Center employees.
Take end-to-end ownership of Sample Request (preparation, printing, finishing, shipping, reporting)
Operate printing equipment.
Finish jobs with the adequate finishing equipment.
Report each activity related to customers
Be a digital print reference and show finishing and media expertise.
Work under own initiative and take ownership of issues, ensuring best in class support to partners and customers.
Contribute to process improvement and deploy new set processes for performance improvements.
Apply developed subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and recommend appropriate alternative solutions.
Adhere to 5S standards for machine and workplace maintenance
Adhere to the Company’s Quality and Business Processes.
Case study and sample catalogue knowledge.
Contribute to EMEA sales objectives by constant improvement of customer experience in order to ensure business growth.
Qualifications and skills:
University degree or professional studies in Graphics.
At least 5 years’ experience in the Printing industry
Customer focused
Very high communication and presentation skills are a must
High ability to learn with a problem-solving attitude
Quality driven and self-motivated
Proven hands-on experience in digital and/or traditional printing (Offset, Flexo, Gravure, ABG Digicon Series 3)
Strong knowledge of finishing solutions and media.
Experience with priming and varnishing processes and equipment
Knowledge of Digital Embellishment
Sound knowledge of digital and traditional graphic industry.
Color management skills is a plus.
Basic knowledge in DTP (Adobe CC).
Team player and stress resistant.
Fluency in English and another main European language is mandatory - any other languages will be considered a plus.
Willing to travel for EMEA Trade shows and customer visits.
