As a Technical Writer, you use your specialized technical knowledge, experience, and attention to detail to edit reports and develop products and analytic assessments to give your clients the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to protect our national security and inform our nation's leaders.
As a Senior Technical Writer on our team, you’ll help your client deliver quality products to consumers daily. You’ll edit and quality control the analysis and information from analysts, providing products to senior policymakers, internal client publications, and US Intelligence Community. You’ll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have the resources to learn new skills and tools. You Have:
5 + years of experience with DoD editing, formatting, creating manuals, engineering documents, or proposals
Experience with using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience with DoD and Intelligence Community writings, standards, and tradecraft
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
