We are seeking a Cleaner who has the determination, and valuable skills required, to ensure our hygiene standards are met in line with New NHS Cleaning Guidelines.
This is a multi-site role and you would be required to travel between sites promptly. You may also be required to attend more than one site in a day.
The post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

The Site Management Team, Kent and Medway NHS, and Social Care Partnership Trust provide delivery of soft facilities services across the site.
We have 1 full-time position that will work 37.5 hours per week . Working Monday to Friday You will work no more than 7.5 hours a day, if working full time between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.;
Responsibilities
• Complete the daily shift plan in the agreed time scale, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met in line with New NHS Cleaning Guidelines.
• Complete weekly departmental performance monitoring, to achieve and maintain the Trust’s own standards.
• Maintain a patient focused service across clinical areas.
• Undertake general cleaning and other related domestic tasks to a high standard, within a designated area and managing own task schedules.
• Maintain a high standard of provision of other Hotel Services related tasks.
• Work as part of the Hotel Services team in conjunction with ward managers on all aspects of ward cleaning and hygiene.
• Ensure waste is disposed of in accordance with the Trust waste disposal policy, assuring Health and Safety standards are adhered to.
• Removal of rubbish to designated collection points

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience
Candidates must have previous cleaning experience, basic knowledge of National Cleaning Standards, and excellent verbal and written communication skills, this is essential due to the importance of the post holder being able to understand and communicate handover information.
The ability to work without direct supervision is also super important.
