The following are the duties of this position at the full working level.

• Assists managers to develop and execute the operational plan for effective resource deployment across teams; serves as a confidential employee to the manager in monitoring and addressing sensitive and confidential matters including Congressional, statute cases, Treasury Inspector General Tax Administration (TIGTA) referrals, unauthorized access (UNAX), employee tax issues; performance issues, and proposed personnel actions including disciplinary measures; has significant involvement in formulating and effectuating the organization's policies and procedures, including managerial recommendations and dispositions on contractual negotiations, grievances, and related labor management activities; and as necessary determines corrective actions addressing processes and personnel; obtains performance feedback and assesses the performance of team managers and employees; provides evaluative input through appropriate management chain; ensures that taxpayers' rights are upheld and the application of tax law is both consistent and proper.
• Analyzes and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's processing of programs, operations, and accomplishments area-wide/nationwide, apprising the manager of critical items. Provides direction and guidance for program continuity, transition, policy formulation and implementation. Identifies procedural and systemic problems and provides evaluative comments to the manager addressing the performance of the operation's systems, policies, processes and personnel.
• Serves as a resource person for the front-line managers and tax examiners, working various types of cases and priority listings. Resolves the most complex issues/inquiries, citing applicable tax laws when necessary, and determining the methods, techniques or customer actions used/needed to resolve the most challenging and sensitive matters. Communicates these issues/inquiries to those with vested interest to further educate/train tax examiners. Extends/shares information with all site/operation employees on issues that impact case processing. Instructs classes for internal and external customers on all issues, especially in the area of functionally specific programs and procedures. As necessary and on an interim basis, may act for the Manager.
• Serves as a liaison with Appeals, Headquarters, Operation work groups, mid-level management, and site/campus employees. When appropriate coordinates with other operating divisions.
• Reviews and analyzes reports (e.g., Quality Measurement System, Centralized Inventory System, etc) that relate to the division/operation's work-units, employee surveys, customer comments and feedback and other relevant data to develop recommendations and implement improvements. Provides leadership for assigned program areas and as a senior management representative, works in partnership with NTEU to enhance the organization's business results, customer satisfaction, and employee satisfaction.

The team we are growing in Canada will focus on building fundamental data extraction pipeline in MFGDM, defining the data model and building related services to extract valuable data assets and establish data centricity, hence enabling product team using the granulated data to fulfill critical customer workflows, building insights from the data, and releasing full values buried in files. Concurrency feature will allow end users (and automations) to edit data concurrently from our applications, including Fusion, as well as API.

Responsibilities

• Work within a scrum team with about 6-7 engineers

• Work with Product Owner, Architect and Tech Leads to collaborate and align on acceptance criteria and ensure delivery of our projects/services

• Collaborate with other Quality Engineers and Quality Champions across the organization to drive effectiveness and consistency

• Develop test strategy, apply right test methodologies and perform hands-on validation for delivery of projects with high quality

• Observe and identify gaps and risks throughout development cycle from quality perspective, leverage analytics to quantify the gaps/risks and come up with solutions to address the gaps/risks

• Thoroughly understand the value we are delivering to our customers with our projects and develop test plans based on the targeted workflows by collaborating with Experience Design and Product Management teams

• Communicate with stakeholders and teams about test strategies, test planning, status and risks

• Understand and enhance the existing automation framework and tools

• Consistently demonstrate the sense of engineering excellence and lead or contribute to initiatives that ensure release of projects/features with speed and high-quality. Assistant Vice President – Senior Business Analyst (Investment Risk)

Who we are looking for

We are currently seeking a senior business analyst with data analysis experience.  The role will be on the information technology team partnering with the risk analysts to continue to enhance SSGA’s Risk Technology Platform.  The individual will write the detailed business and system specifications on enhancements, data loading, and data transformation; conducting data analysis of holdings, fund flow, and market data that drive the risk analytics. 

The successful candidate will have strong data analysis skills, can build partnerships, foster close collaboration and work hand in hand with both business and technology teams.  The candidate must possess an inherent understanding of technologies, relationships between technology, data, operations, and business areas to accomplish speed to market technology solutions.

What you will be responsible for

As the IT Business Analyst for Risk Technology Platform, you will

• Partner with multiple stakeholders to understand and document investment risk methodologies.
• Proficient in SQL to conduct detailed data analysis on Risk Analytics, Holdings, Fund Flows, and Market Data.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to understand the data sources and operational processes, and data dependencies.
• Document and clearly communicate the business and system specifications; review with business stakeholders, and obtain approval for developments.
• Knowledge-share the business specifications with development team; facilitate the technical design; and create the system specifications and agile stories.
• Lead story grooming,  provide subsequent clarifications, and approve QA test cases.
• Facilitate project meetings, proactively identify and remove impediments, escalate issues, and regularly report the status to the business group.

What we value

• Must be highly proficient in SQL
• Must have solid knowledge of mutual fund holdings, security reference data, market pricing data.
• Working knowledge of risk analytics is preferred

The Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer / Lead is a senior SQA role responsible for leading SQA efforts on Agile team(s) working to enhance State Street’s core custody platform.

As a Senior Software Quality Lead you will:

Responsibilities

• The Ecosystem Executive will help customers to navigate the challenges associated with digital transformation, industry convergence, and changes to their business

• You will expand high value relationships at C-level/board level that impact their corporate or divisional strategy and business model

• You will identify customer needs and leverage Autodesk value across large Capital Expenditure projects, ecosystem/supply chain (i.e., owners, contractors, subcontractors, BPM's, specialties, etc.)
