I am looking for a technical sales representative to join a rapidly expanding national company who specialises within the plant hire industry.
The role will cover either of the geographical are of Bury St Edmunds & East Anglia.
The role will involve:
Deliver within the assigned territory profitable growth, through development of orders from both new and existing accounts from active business development
Supply various equipment the company provides within the groundwork's, construction and building sectors
Manage appointments, schedules, and time by effective planning of calls, travel, and meetings within your given geographical area
Offer a personalised service regarding Company image, competitiveness, unexploited opportunities, technological developments, competitors, customer businesses developments/ activities
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor’s products and services within your area
Maintain an up-to-date portfolio/info of Company Literature and recent projects
Assist with on-site training for customers and the preparation of toolbox talks and presentation
In return my client is offering a competitive salary based upon experience / existing relationships within the sector up to £35,000 basic + monthly & yearly basic – which could see a realistic OTE return of around £60-£65k in the first year.
You would also have a company car, or monthly allowance + laptop, mobile and any other necessary information to help with your sales.
The role will be an 80% / 20% field and office-based position, so the ideal candidate must be familiar with managing their own working hours/days and not be afraid of travelling.
