The Branch manager is responsible for a branch that includes four small and three medium hub airports. This responsibility includes 306 Federally funded airports throughout Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri including more than 35 Part 139 certified airports.

Supervises the assistant branch manager and technical staff of up to 17 employees staff engaged in administering all aspects of Airports programs.

The selectee is responsible for overseeing and directing the implementation of the Airport Improvement Program (AIP) ensuring, at a high level, the appropriate coordination (both internal and external) takes place. The program involves airport planning (airport master planning, state and/or metropolitan system planning) and implementation of the National Environmental Policy Act. The AIP requires annual updates to the office of Airports Capital Improvement Plan (ACIP) and includes primary and non-primary airports.

Collaborates with all organizations and stakeholders to address corporate level initiatives, acting as an Agent of FAA for meeting with DOT, States, local municipalities, Airports, etc.

The selectee will interface with others to achieve organizational objectives and exercise delegated authority in advising Federal, state, and local officials on laws, regulations, and innovative solutions regarding airport development and operations.

Establishes, monitors, and evaluates program goals. Initiates, strengthens, or eliminates programs or major projects to meet established goals and regional and agency objectives. Reports status and effectiveness of programs and initiatives to higher levels within Airports Division.

Provides input to the identification and resolution of problems and cooperates with officials on matters pertaining to problems and complaints of discrimination.

Coordinates all program activities with the Division and ensures timely and responsive customer service.

Ensures airport development projects provide the protection and enhancement of the environment and sponsor compliance with terms of agreements entered into as a condition of receiving federal assistance.

Provides advisory service to the public on airport safety, planning, design, construction, environmental and maintenance matters.

Assures the uniform application of FAA airport planning, programming, design, construction and land acquisition standards and policy in federally-assisted airport development projects.

Maintains the overall organizational health of all staff members to quickly, fairly, and effectively handle any personnel challenges; ensure the development of staff members, and leading the office.

Determines any needed organizational changes to the office structure that allows for more efficient and effective accomplishment of the work, and puts these changes into effect. Oversees resources and establishes programs to reduce resource usage and operating costs without adversely affecting overall operation.

Exercises the full range of managerial responsibilities to include strategic planning and initiatives, communicating the organization's vision and objectives; setting priorities; assigning tasks and responsibilities; monitoring and evaluating performance of organizational units, supervises and develops staff, approves leave; and takes corrective/disciplinary actions as appropriate.

This is a technical hands-on role involving the leading of a team of five 1st, 2nd & 3rd line engineers and a number of key partners to deliver exceptional service and provide a reliable and secure IT platform at our breweries, depots and pubs.

This role will involve:

Leading of the IT Service desk, ensuring we provide exceptional service to all customers, and measure performance against SLAs

To troubleshoot any IT technical issues and resolve in a courteous, professional, and timely manner. Act as a technical escalation point for the team

To design, implement, document, maintain, and test of the organisation’s infrastructure, in conjunction with our partners.

To administer computer networks and related computing environments including firewalls, servers, routers, switches, storage arrays, hypervisors, WAN, LAN, Azure, MS365

Implementing asset management processes as part of the service management lifecycle

To manage the deployment and implementation of disaster recovery / business continuity technical design and objectives, documentation, planning and testing

Your relevant experience will include:

Meraki Switches and Wireless Access Points

Sonicwall & Fortinet Firewalls

Autopilot

Mobile deployment & control principles (Intune)

ITIL qualification and experience in a similar role

Strong desktop management & technical support background using Microsoft and Mac technologies.

ILM level 2 qualification or equivalent

Team Leader experience

Experience in a multi-site retail setting (with EPOS/PDQs)

Working for or with a Managed Service provider

Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Electrical & Optical Components Research & Technology Task Leader (F/M) to join our Electrical & Optical Standard Parts Team, the position is based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team responsible for the design, qualification and support of electrical, optical systems components for electrical systems installation: Cables (copper, aluminum, coaxial, fire resistant) , Connectors, Lugs, contacts, Fibre Optics (Mono and Multi Fiber), Circuit-Breaker, switch, Pressure seals, sleeves, Backshells, conduits

Each system is connected with an assembly of these parts. We manage them from specification to in-service and manufacturing support.

The team is transnational (Germany, India, France) and our parts cover all Systems and all programmes.

Your challenges:

• Defining & Deploying the strategy for the Electrical and Optical components for the future A/C Architecture (Products lines approach).

• Defining, building and launching R&T projects to derisk future technologies and support the strategy.

• Securing, organizing and coordinating the contribution of the team to the different projects to ensure the consistency and alignment with our products lines approach

Your boarding pass:

• Electrical Engineering and associated experiences with understanding of physics between the component design and it’s electrical properties (power and data transmission), with knowledge of high voltage phenomenon (e.g.arc-tracking, partial discharge, triple points).

• Environmental components performance (EMI, fluid resistance, fire, corrosion, vibration…) and associated test methods.

• Component material properties (e.g. conductors, insulators, shielding and jackets)

• Manufacturing methods (e.g. cable assembly).

• High Innovation mindset and ability to make changes and to challenge the existent
