Job Summary:
Psychology Fellow, under the supervision of a Psychologist and per the State of MN Board of Psychology requirements, will provide direct clinical care in clinical setting. Through assessment and intervention, will address mental health disorders of clients. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans that utilize various treatment modalities - individual, family and/or group therapy.
Allina Health has a robust Mental Health and Addiction Clinical Service Line that offers the full continuum of care including integration, specialty outpatient clinics, addiction and co-occurring services, partial hospitalization and day treatment, and inpatient care. There are more than 290 mental health and addiction clinicians dedicated to the highest quality patient care across 45 primary care clinics, 6 integrated psychiatry locations, 4 hospital-based clinics, 15 partial and day treatment programs, 15 Allina and affiliated Emergency Departments, and 7 hospitals with 270 inpatient beds. The Mental Health and Addiction Clinical Service Line is led by both psychiatry and psychology clinical leadership, in partnership with operations to advance mental health care for patients across Allina Health.

Principle Responsibilities
- Assess - per supervision guidelines:
- Conduct psycho-social assessment and diagnosis
- Create treatment plan utilizing various treatment modalities
- Engages family when appropriate, in the development of the treatment plan
- Reassess and recommend changes to treatment plan as necessary
- May consult with primary care providers for ongoing management of behavioral health needs
- Communicate/notify attending, supervising or referring provider of assessment and recommendations
- Treatment per supervision guidelines:
- Meet requirements of third party payers
- Provide individual, family and group psychotherapy as identified in treatment plan
- Coordinate treatment with other providers and community agencies
- Complete treatment plan per department policy/procedure
- Reassess patient needs and progress per policy/procedure
- May provide crisis management in partnership with team
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- All requirements met for Doctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree in Psychology or Counseling required
- 0 to 2 years experience in psychotherapy or clinical neuropsychology preferred
- Licensed Psychologist - MN Board of Psychology required Upon Hire
- BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required Upon Hire
