We are looking for a Technical Support Co-ordinator to support in service support design and transition as well as lead on discrete work packages.

Tasking

The role is responsible for development and delivery of in-service support/service delivery project activity ensuring that the objectives are achieved within the agreed time, cost and quality constraints. This role is key to successfully designing and implementing in service support and associated project governance and processes whilst working with multiple MOD stakeholders, to ensure the agreed project outputs are delivered to enable benefits to be realised.

• Support service delivery development and implementation, including integrated logistical support and transition planning.
• Support or set appropriate project integrated logistical support assurance.Understand and engage suppliers to inform budgeting.
• Support development of Business Cases with focus on in integrated logistical support and service management.
• Development and implementation of effective engineering/service delivery change management.
• Development and implementation of effective engineering/service delivery configuration management system.
• Develop, implement, and deliver HW asset management.
• Customer lead for Training Needs Analysis activity.
• Identify key stakeholders and develop effective relationships.
• Lead and create project artefacts (e.g. Obsolescence Management Plan Configuration Management Plan) to support delivery of agreed outcomes.
• Day to day management and leadership of in scope activity.

To be considered for this role you will have the following:

Essential

• Active or able to achieve SC Clearance.
• Maritime/Defence experience.
• In Service Support Experience (Integrated Logistical Support or ITIL Service Delivery).
• Engineering Function Experience.

Desirable Skills

• IT systems or Engineering Project experience
• ITIL Foundation

Our client is expanding their Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) capabilities, and the successful candidate will be responsible for designing the RF System. The EW Group supports activities on relevant weapon systems and missile projects. The RF System Design Engineer will work closely with the missile systems team to ensure seamless integration of RF equipment into the missile.

What we're looking for:

The EW group is ideally looking for a person who exhibits / holds a range of the following qualities / experience:

• Having knowledge of RF systems is essential, especially in an EW context or similar applications such as communications or radar systems.
• The ideal candidate should possess a solid technical understanding of RF/Microwave and electronic systems, including algorithm design and implementation.
• System design engineering skills including: requirements elicitation, decomposition, and management; system design, integration, and test; system verification and validation
• Proficient in one or more systems design toolsets (e.g. SysML, DOORS and/or Rhapsody).
• EW tactics and techniques and Antenna design and / or EM modelling
• Understand and know about Integrated Air Defence Systems.
• System-level RF modelling, with the use of tools such as MATLAB and Simulink
• Experience in supplier management (typically undertaken with the support of a Procurement Lead)
• Work package and project management, with the ability to manage schedule, cost, quality, and performance metrics
