Electrician (Commercial) - working for a very large nationwide maintenance company.

Job comes with a van and fuel card - £36,800 pa (PAYE)

This role will be extremely long term and is highly likely to go permanent for the right candidate.

• £18.89 per hour - (PAYE) - wages paid weekly
• Van and fuel card provided for you - van can be taken home every day
• Monday to Friday - 8am-4pm
• Working in areas such as Hunsbury Meadows, Kislingbury, Rothersthorpe, etc

Main Duties:

• Planned electrical maintenance in commercial buildings - Northampton area.
• Electrical Fault finding.
• Very basic nonelectrical maintenance and repair work needed.

Essential Requirements:

• 18th edition.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Electrical repair and electrical maintenance experience.
• Be happy to carry out basic general maintenance work such as basic plumbing, basic joinery, etc.
• South - West Northampton areas.

£18.89 per hour (PAYE) - Wages paid weekly.

Van and fuel card provided for you (van can be taken home daily) plus all PPE, equipment, and materials will be provided for you as well.

Monday to Friday - 8am-4pm

Role summary:

The successful candidate will support the warehousing and distribution operation by safely and efficiently shunting vehicles around the premises.



Key responsibilities

-Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance with all legal and site requirements.

-Ensure that consideration is given to other drivers, colleagues and pedestrians in the work area.

-Ensure all daily checks are undertaken ensuring defects are immediately reported and associated paperwork completed

-Complete all necessary paperwork, such as movement sheets, on time and in full

-To be respectful to other road users and members of the public ensuring the reputation of the business is protected at all times.

-Observe Company rules and procedures as defined in the shunter pack and other Company Policies and Procedures, such as site rules.

-Ensure that all personal protective equipment (PPE) used is in good order and is utilised as instructed

-Ensure all operations are undertaken in line with the relevant SSOW.

-Continually seek to improve our processes and services.

-Ensure all vehicles are checked for defects prior to use and such is reported immediately.



Essential Criteria

-You should have held your HGV 1/C+E Licence for a minimum 2 years.

-No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions

-Hold a current valid DCPC Card.

-Understand and able to comply with Drivers hours and WTD legislation.

-Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.

-Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.

Role summary:

The Warehouse Operative assists in the sortation, storage, loading and unloading of product within the warehouse operation. This role works on behalf of our customers to ensure they are receiving the correct freight at the correct time and upholding our promise of delivering exactly.



Key responsibilities

-Represent DX in a professional manner at all times

-Follow all aspects of DX Manual Handling and safe working policies

-Handle all freight with care and attention

-Access and egress vehicles using the correct means

-Use the correct equipment and methods for handling and moving all freight

-Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving the depot

-Report all damages immediately to your line manager

-Ensure all freight being loaded or unloaded matches relevant paperwork / scanner information

-Ensure that customers freight are transported, stored safely and treated with respect

-Ensure the security of freight and company assets by reporting and suspicious activity to your line manager or the security team

-Ensure warehouse is kept tidy and H&S issues reported immediately

If you currently have a FLT licence that would be great, as would experience of dealing with high volume warehousing operations.
