You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with development of web-services using Java, C#, or Python against big-data technologies

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be a key part of an innovative, “first to market” technology culture, contributing to CIBC’s digital transformation.  As a Senior Consultant, Production Application Support, you will be joining the Equity Markets group within the Capital Markets Technology team. Check on overnight batch processes, market and client connectivity to ensure technology readiness and availability each day. Who You Are

• You can demonstrate experience in: Cross-discipline Application Support of real-time trading and settlement systems.  Diagnose Application issues related to DB, Network, OS, HW, Security, and Message Queue/Bus platforms.  Knowledge of Industry leading Execution and Order Management Systems (EMS/OMS), and Industry standard FIX message protocol.  Advanced knowledge of shell scripting, SQL DDL/DML, and logfile datamining is required to troubleshoot issues and provide tactical solutions.  Strong knowledge and 3 years experience with FIDESSA, Flex Trade, VEX.  Note: This position will require after hours and weekend support as needed.

Allina Health's Neuroscience, Spine, and Pain Institute is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who is passionate about helping people who are dealing with chronic pain lead healthier, happier lives. We are open to recent graduates for this position, and also welcome candidates with previous NP/PA experience. Pain management experience is preferred, but not required.

SALARY: $68,289.00 - $109,521.00 Annually

ELIGIBILITY: Qualified candidates will be considered for vacancies as they arise, for a period of at least six months. The decision of the Director of Human Resources with respect to acceptable minimum qualifications is final.

CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK: Eligible candidates under final consideration for appointment to this position identified as positions of trust will be required to authorize the release of and successfully complete a Fingerprint check.

PROBATION: All persons, including current City employees, selected from this position will be on probation for 6 months.

CLASS DEFINITION

An Information Technology Specialist provides technical support to customers for personal computers, network system infrastructure equipment, including testing, updating, maintaining, and providing training on mainframe client servers and microcomputer software and hardware; responds to helpdesk requests.

Work of this class may involve leading and training less experienced IT Specialists but does not involve full supervisory duties or responsibilities.

SELECTION PROCESS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

On or before the date of filing the application, each candidate must:

EDUCATION: Have an associate degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.

AND

EXPERIENCE:  Have two (2) years of computer and customer support, application analysis, and/or data security and testing experience. Previous IT experience in government is preferred.

OR

EQUIVALENCIES: Have an equivalent combination of education and experience.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATES:

Advanced technical credentials such as Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are highly preferred.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Knowledge of the installation, maintenance, and enhancement of microcomputer systems and mainframe client servers.
• Knowledge of the interrelationship of systems analysis, computer programming, and information technology operations.
• Knowledge of current trends and developments in network-based communications systems.
• Knowledge of computer-based communications protocols.
• Skill in developing database queries and generating reports.
• Skill in installing, repairing, and troubleshooting network programs, hardware, and systems.
• Skill in cartographic map design, accuracy of presentation with required map components and elements, layout, and design.
• Ability to analyze, apply logic and solve technology problems.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, management, technical co-workers and support specialists, and system users.
• Ability to design complex systems consisting of a wide variety of programs, procedures, and forms.
• Ability to schedule and perform preventative and corrective maintenance procedures and repairs.
• Ability to write detailed technical reports and analyses.
• Ability to develop a working knowledge of computer systems software and operating systems.
• Ability to develop systems software and systems software testing procedures.
