Based within the Traffic & Network Management Team you will be inspecting activities on the Staffordshire highways network including parking permits, street works permit activity, highways licences and temporary/permanent traffic regulation orders with the aim of assessing suitability and minimising disruption and congestion, keeping traffic moving, ensuring safety and compliance on the network and providing a vital service to the residents of Staffordshire.

Main Responsibilities

You will:

• use your judgement to provide advice and apply amendments, controls or restrictions to work carried out in order to achieve the goals of the Traffic Management Act 2004 and the New Roads & Streetworks Act 1991 (NRSWA).
• be interpreting and implementing the NRSWA Code of Practice for Inspections and the Specification for the Reinstatement of Openings in the Highway (SROH).
• reporting into the Traffic & Network Inspections Managers, you will maintain precise and accurate records of inspection activities.
• liaise with various internal and external companies, authorities and stakeholders.
• look to achieve resolutions to defective work and apparatus on the highway whilst maintaining departmental goals.

The Highways & Built County service sits within the Economy, Infrastructure and Skills directorate. Its purpose is to manage, maintain and sustainably improve Staffordshire’s Built Environment so that amongst other things it is safe, accessible, functions well, promotes inward investment and economic growth, and supports social cohesion and healthy lifestyle choices.

Within the Highways & Built County service, sits Highway Information Management, which is central to much of the data and information created, improved and managed concerning the County’s highway network. The multi-disciplinary team works in partnership with many other stakeholders including District Councils, Government bodies, the Council's strategic delivery partner Amey, and many internal highway teams. Its functions include a variety of data creation and analysis, information management and improvement activities, concerning Traffic Data, records of the extent of the adopted highway, asset management and the National Street Gazetteer.

Main Responsibilities

This is a varied role, which will allow you to develop your interest and skills concerning data and information management within a highways setting. Your role will involve:

• Day to day support and management of the data held in the county's National Street Gazetteer

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to undertake the maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment. This includes service, maintenance, and repair of split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems and heat pumps. What You’ll Get to Do:

We are seeking an Application Database Administrator to support and maintain multiple Oracle RAC Clusters, RDBMS, EBS, and FMW environment instances in support of the Global Combat Supply System Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) ERP.  The selected candidate will support the Solutions Development Environment (SDE) by ensuring that the environment is documented, patched, secured, and available. The candidate should have experience in a large, dynamic, highly available Oracle EBS/ERP environment.


You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• 5+ Years of IT experience, with experience in a large-scale Oracle EBS ERP sustainment experience
• Experience administering Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle EBS R12.2 and Oracle OEM13c
• Must have experience with installation and support of Oracle RAC, 11G, 12c and 19c databases
• Experience working on Oracle EBS upgrade projects including upgrades to Oracle database major versions
• Working knowledge of Maintaining DoD security Standards and Rules, including those related to the databases (e.g., Oracle CPU patching, access management, direct grant, db links, etc.)
• Experience in security monitoring, managing, and testing, such as IAVA's, patches, STIGs etc.
• Must be able to apply performance tuning techniques to both Oracle applications and databases
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or other relevant degree fields or equivalent years of experience in the field
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (EM) Cloud Control
• Experience in using AMP tool for patch deployment
• Experience with instance cloning for application and database

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• DoD 8570 Baseline Certification
• Oracle certification related to the above activities
• Experience in designing and implementing single sign-on architecture of various supporting application such as SOA, OBIEE using available tools including but not limited to OAM/OID, and load balancing

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400-$143,700
