Post: Evidence Based Practice (EBP) and Innovation Officer
Salary: Scale 6 - £30,783 - £32,772

Cleveland Police is looking for people with the right skills and abilities to help deliver the vision of the Chief Constable by supporting the identification and use of research evidence along with processes to encourage and embed innovation and continuous improvement.
You’ll be right for this role if you have experience of research methods and/or undertaking research in an academic or policing environment. You will be working alongside colleagues in the Force and from local and regional universities to develop and deliver research proposals and you must have a passion and drive for innovation and creativity and an interest in helping us to improve.
You must have excellent inter-personal skills and be able to communicate clearly and concisely in writing and face to face along with a logical and methodical approach to managing your workload.
We’re a busy Force, with lots of change, so you must be able to work to demanding timescales with conflicting demands. You must be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and on your own initiative.
You should be able to demonstrate excellent research and analytical skills, with a clear ability to translate your findings into clear and concise corporate documents.
