Broad Function

• Support the department in the application of analytical and statistical knowledge in deployment of tools to transform data into insights to facilitate decision making, leading to the achievement of the company long term vision in providing effective and efficient healthcare services to the population.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders within the organisation, external healthcare institutions and external entities to explore and identify opportunities to leverage on data to drive business solutions.
• Support organisational reporting and dashboarding roadmap implementation.
• Apply Data Analytics and Operations Research knowledge to transform data into insights to drive optimisation and improvement of business strategies.
• Develop data processing automation through programming and other tools such as Robotics Process Automation to improve productivity.
• Participate in strategy formulation to enable and catalyse the department in meeting its KPIs.
• Maintain current organisational Enterprise Data Warehouse and plan for replatform to future Data Lake to enable stakeholder access to accurate and high-quality data for analysis and reporting.
• Operationalisation of Data Exchange Office (DXO) to handle internal and external data requests and perform Trusted Third Party (TTP) Data Anonymisation when required.

Education / Training / Experience

• Relevant bachelor degree in the field of Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Economics, Business, Data Science or related field
• Working experience in health or healthcare related industry and held a role in Business Intelligence, Systems Integration, Data Warehouse Management, Data Science or Data Engineering related areas.
• Relevant experience in non-healthcare related industries will be considered.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills
• Good team player
• Ability to perform and complete stretched tasks within tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, review, and management of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and regulatory filings.
• Conduct legal research on various shipping-related or commercial matters, including maritime law, international trade regulations, transportation law including Engineering, Procurement and Construction law.
• Recording minutes of meetings.
• Collaborate with external lawyers and other team members to gather necessary information and documentation for legal proceedings and transactions.
• Maintain, organize and update legal files, databases, and records, ensuring easy accessibility and compliance with retention policies.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the shipping industry, providing updates and recommendations to the legal team as needed.
• Assist in the resolution of legal disputes, including coordinating with external counsel, drafting correspondence, and preparing evidence.
• Support the legal team in administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating document production/execution.
• Render legal support to various business units and subsidiaries in other jurisdictions.
• Provide general assistance and support to other departments on legal matters as required.
• Assist legal team to create and enhance corporate policies including data protection.
• Assist legal team to enhance corporate social responsibility and sustainability efforts.
• Assist legal team to create, update and digitalize legal processes.
• Any other assistance the legal team may require.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) or diploma or degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field.
• Previous experience (min 4 years) working as a paralegal in a law firm, corporate legal department, or shipping-related industry.
• Strong understanding of legal principles and procedures, with specific knowledge of maritime law, EPC contracts and shipping regulations preferred.
• Proficiency in legal research methods and tools, including LexisNexis, Westlaw, or similar platforms.
