We are delighted to announce that the Deloitte Ireland Return to Work programme is open for applications. Designed to support those who have taken a career break of 18+ months, as of September 2024, (including career breaks of 10+ years) and wish to return to the workforce.
The programme is offered in hybrid working in line with our Deloitte Works policy. Depending on the role, various flexible working options may also be available during and after the programme.
All our returners receive internal coaching and mentoring, support from previous Deloitte returners and will be assigned a buddy, their point of contact for all day-to-day queries and support. Participants also avail of group coaching with Career Returners, our expert returner coaching partner, to help them successfully transition back to work.
The programme offers a paid 6-month placement in Deloitte. The roles are at a professional level and towards the end of the programme there will be potential to convert to permanent roles with Deloitte.
We welcome applications for any of the following areas in our Tax business:
Corporate Tax: Working with the team within our compliance centre to oversee the corporate tax compliance process for assigned clients. Liaising with clients to ensure that all corporate tax payment and filing obligations are addressed and returns are filed in advance of any relevant deadlines
Private Clients: Assisting private clients with their tax compliance obligations. Advising private clients in relation to succession planning, asset holding structures and asset acquisitions and disposals
Global Employer Services: Providing employment tax/equity incentives consulting to clients including revenue audits, redundancy tax calculation projects, due diligence projects, share scheme compliance and consulting. Also providing clients with outsourced payroll services & corporate immigration services
Indirect Tax – Providing local and global indirect tax advice to a wide range of clients across all sectors. We provide complex advisory and compliance services and there are a range of opportunities to take placements as part of client’s tax teams
Transfer Pricing: The transfer pricing teamwork with companies to manage their business risks by aligning practical transfer pricing services with their overall global business operations and objectives, assist with strategic documentation to support their transfer pricing practices and resolve disputes efficiently
Tax Technology Consulting: Helping businesses meet the challenges of multi-jurisdictional tax operations as well as implementing tax function transformation programs. We provide a broad range of tax and technology related services including;
Tax process and data flow improvement
Data automation & analytics
Data, systems and process impact assessment and remediation for new legislative requirements
Design/assessment of Tax Risk Framework process, system, and data controls
Enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation
Development and responsible deployment of generative AI tools

Stage 2: Interviews will take place in May 2024, this is a two-stage interview process
Stage 3: The Deloitte Return to Work Programme will start on 2 September 2024. All successful candidates will start the programme on this date with a group of returners
