Job Overview:

Mitie is looking for Retail security officers who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from crime and the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

You must hold a current SIA licence or valid SIA certificates (licence can be provided) and a full 5-year checkable employment/education history.

Main duties:

-To deliver industry leading customer service

-To deter violence and public order offences

-To conduct patrols of the store

-Utilising CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss

-Liaise with the store management teams

-Liaise with the Police and crime partnerships where required to foster a great working relationship to support the reduction of crime in store

-To wear Body Worn CCTV to support in the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety

Civil Enforcement Administration Officer

Salary: £11.44 per hour

Hours:　30 hours per week

We are seeking a highly experienced & motivated administrator to work as a Civil Enforcement Administration Officer to join the team at Thanet District Council. The Civil Enforcement team helps the District Council meet the demands of the Traffic Management Act 2004.

As a Civil Enforcement Administration Officer, you will deal with all administration and parking enquiries regarding Civil Enforcement. This includes Penalty Charge Notices, Abandoned Vehicles, Parking Permits, Parking Suspensions, Road Closures & Payment.

Responsibilities:

- Giving customers a wide range of specialist advice over the telephone and email on all parking and highway related issues.

- Responding to customers on the councils parking appeals process and offer information on Penalty Charge Notices

- Manage the inputting of data into the permit management system and issuing permits in accordance with the council's terms and conditions.

- Manage the inputting of data and process on Abandoned Vehicles.

- Assist with the inputting of data for parking payments

- Assist with orders for the department and ensure that they are dealt with quickly and efficiently.

- Assist with Parking Suspension administration.

- Assist with Road Closure administration.

- Assist with general office administration.

　

Requirements:

- Basic knowledge of the local area is essential

- Excellent IT skills

- Customer service skills

- Proven written and verbal communication skills

- Experience with a busy office environment

- Must be able to multitask & work well under pressure

- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
