CACI has an exciting opportunity for qualified cleared professionals to join our team as a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) in the Fort Meade, MD area. You will use your years of experience in Information Systems Security to support the customer's strategies for advancing their national defense goals and objectives. Your professional drive will provide you with the ability to work in a fast-past, mission focused environment engaged in everchanging technologies.
As a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer, you will assist cybersecurity test lab management to maintain network security compliance and manage system requirements for various customer projects.
Functions and Responsibilities
- Capture and refine information security requirements and ensure requirements are effectively integrated into network products and information systems through purposeful security architecting, design, development, and configuration.
- Employ best practices when implementing system security countermeasures, including software engineering methodologies, system/security engineering principles, secure design, secure architecture, and secure coding techniques.
- Implement approved corrective actions and software patches identified in the certification and authorization POA&M.
- Maintain standardized Configuration Management of cybersecurity test networks and associated required documentation to include the development and maintenance of hardware and software lists.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Information Systems Security Engineer Level 2 Fourteen (14) years of experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
DoD 8570.01-M compliance with IASAE Level 2 is required CISSP Certification is required.
Four (4) years of ISSE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Information Systems Security Engineer Advanced - Level 3:
Twenty (20) years of experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 3 is required. Both Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) and CISSP Certifications are required.

- Experience with virtualization and emulation software and Linux/Windows virtual machine architectures
- Network management knowledge to include experience with network switches and firewalls

- Understanding of DoD system certification and authorization to include eMASS and the Risk Assessment Management Process
- Familiarity with DoD ISSM responsibilities and processes

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$109,800 - $241,600
