Your new role
The Manager, SAP Security, is responsible for managing the SAP Security team and owning overall security and controls, partnering with Business Teams to meet business needs while providing a secure and auditable SAP environment that is aligned with the security and SOX compliance policies with a goal to have satisfactory audit rating.
You'll develop SAP roles and profiles to minimize business risk and ensure clear segregation of duties. You will be responsible for understanding dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules and SAP systems. Provides functional and configuration support in designing SAP authorizations and roles.You need to develop and maintain security processes to ensure compliant, efficient and timely approval of access throughout the SAP landscape.
You'll be creating/reviewing existing customer ruleset, rule building and identifying improvements, opportunities and remediating identified violations.
What you'll need to succeed

• Experience with SAP Security Design, Implementation and Administration and experience configuring, deploying, and maintaining GRC tools, MSMP, ARA and mitigation controls.
• Experience with SAP authorizations in S4, ECC, SAP Fiori
• Proven experience with analyzing and resolving complex authorization problems utilizing SAP standard tools
• Understanding of latest tools and technologies, including Identity Management, Mobile solutions, and Cloud solutions
• Ability to work under pressure, manage/lead a team of highly technical resources and proven ability to self-manage and work with minimal supervision producing quality work.
• Be pro-active and take initiative to plan and strategize future work streams and growth and encourage teams to do the same.
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and strong interpersonal skills.

The Joint Maritime Security Centre (JMSC) is the UK government’s centre of excellence for maritime security. Its mission is to increase awareness and understanding of maritime security threats and enable cross-government coordination to deliver a whole-system response to mitigate them.

JMSC is a multi-agency, fused military-civil organisation with staff drawn from a host of agencies including Border Force, the Royal Navy, Counter Terrorism Policing, National Crime Agency, HM Revenue and Customs, Home Office Intelligence, the Maritime Management Organisation, and HM Coast Guard. It’s responsible for ensuring the UK maintains its understanding of the maritime domain and develops the cross-government coordination frameworks to respond to threats to security, law and order, trade and commerce, and the marine environment.

JMSC offers government departments and agencies a central point of UK maritime expertise and understanding to assist policy and decision making. JMSC works internationally - with states and with key international organisations - to support information sharing, relationship development and capacity building efforts.

The key elements of JMSC are:

The National Maritime Information Centre (NMIC), which since 2010 has provided a mechanism for the UK’s civilian and military maritime and law enforcement focused organisations to fuse intelligence, data, and capabilities. This maximises operational impact at home and abroad.
Joint Maritime Security Centre - Operations, which utilises cutting edge technology to provide 24/7 monitoring of UK waters. It can swiftly identify maritime security incidents and enable the effective coordination of the UK’s aerial and at-sea assets to respond, ensuring the safety and security of all those who use our seas.
The new JMSC Assessment capability, which will produce global strategic maritime security assessments to inform UK government and other stakeholders of threats within or emanating from the maritime domain. This also provides support to the UK sanctions regimes.
These functions are supported by the JMSC Strategy team, which includes workforce planning, programme management, financial planning and controls, and policy development.
Job description
The Joint Maritime Security Centre (JMSC) Strategy and Policy (Strat Pol) team form the core enabling function within the JMSC, providing critical services to the Operational elements of the organisation. JMSC Strat Pol is formed of three distinct sub teams:

Policy and Business Resilience (P&BR)
Security and Data Compliance (S&DC)
Project Management Office and Finance (PMO&F)
The Information Managers will be responsible for ensuring that all JMSC information and data is stored and managed in line with the relevant regulations. You will be part of the Security and Data Compliance team, working to the JMSC STRAPSO, but will provide an enabling function to the whole organisation.

Working Pattern

Person specification
Duties will include but are not limited to:

Collation of project and programme information.
Ensuring storage of information follows all relevant regulations and procedures, depending on the classification of the information in question.
Ensuring processes and procedures are in place to enable teams to easily access their required information without breaching information security, including sharing best practice regarding the use of JMSC templates and naming conventions etc.
Identifying breaches in information handling and escalating to the JMSC STRAPSO for reporting to the Data Compliance Team Lead.
Logging, investigating, and risk assessing breaches in information handling via the relevant procedures and reporting back into the Data Protection Assurance team.
Disseminating information on behalf of function leads, as required.
Archiving or destroying documents, in line with relevant procedures and as advised by members of the team.
Essential Criteria

Candidates are expected to demonstrate and/or have experience of:

Sound judgement and decision making, utilising all available information.
A willingness to follow processes and procedures, identifying efficiencies and opportunities to improve the relevant working practices.
Self-motivated, highly organised, efficient, and able to manage many competing priorities in a calm and appropriate manner.
An ability to work with a wide range of individuals from across JMSC, to ensure that records are maintained and stored/disseminated/destroyed as required.

Desirable Criteria

Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, preferably with an operational background.
Experience of Information Management or other equivalent skills.
