• Performs professional engineering work in the preparation of civil, structural, and architectural designs, drawings, and specifications for construction, alteration, renovation, addition, and rehabilitation projects for office buildings.
• Broad range of facilities and infrastructure to include laboratories, test facilities, storage buildings, utilities systems, roads, bridges, and ground improvements.
• Duties are performed on a project basis with the incumbent acting as lead engineer and coordinator for projects involving other engineering disciplines.

• Serve as the administrative and legal assistant to AMLC-APG senior leaders, as well as all AMLC-APG attorneys and paraprofessionals.
• Independently perform administrative matters, to include receiving and screening incoming information through electronic mail, phone calls, or written correspondence.
• Draft, prepare, review, and track legal correspondence, memorandums, briefings and presentations, and executive notes.
• Assist and advise attorney action officers on all procedural and administrative aspects of staff actions.
• Serve in a variety of administrative roles supporting the Legal Center attorneys including, but not limited to the following:
• Automated Time and Attendance Production System (ATAAPS) Timekeeper: performing end-of-pay period checks to ensure automated timecards are completed accurately.
• Alternate Security Officer: ensuring all employees are issued security access badges during onboarding and all badges are turned in during out-processing.
• Government Purchase Cardholder: purchasing goods or services in accordance with established Department policy, procurement regulations, and individual internal office procedures.
• Perform legal research including researching legal reference files for specific information such as pertinent Federal and State statutes, cases, briefs, opinions and other points of legal significance.
• Key Control Custodian: maintains all forms and records required for key control, ensures that adequate control of all keys is accomplished within the custodial area as directed by the Key Control Officer and the SOP.

In this role you'll support the head of department with secretarial and PA support and play a key part in the operational success of the family law department, family law experience is therefor essential.

• Function as the principal staff advisor for all security program issues.
• Develop the command’s annual and un-forecasted budget requirements for all security programs.

• Establish and implement comprehensive Operations Security and Personnel Security Programs involving the protection and safeguarding of sensitive and critical information related to the activity’s and supported organization’s missions.

• Serves as the primary representative for the Command’s Physical Security Program.
• Coordinates security requirements with Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) Provost Marshall, MACOM physical security officer, and the Department of the Army (DA).
• Manages physical security equipment including intrusion detection systems (IDS), access control/badging systems, duress systems, closed circuit television (CCTV), fencing, lighting and barriers to effectively protect personnel, facilities and assets
• Prepares statements of work for a variety of physical security systems and equipment.
• Determines Mission Essential Vulnerable Areas (MEVAs) and initiates physical security inspections to determine compliance with established requirements.
• Provides Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive threat assessments and develop security plans for establishing countermeasures procedures to protect the mission requirements.
• Conducts Physical Security inspections for the Command to ensure program compliance.

• Serves as a Government Security Specialist responsible for the day-to-day multi-disciplined security support of classified and sensitive information as directed by the G2 Chief of Security and Intelligence.
• Establish, implement, and disseminate local plans, policy, and procedures aligned with current Department of Defense and Army instructions, directives, and policy.
• Develops and implements a comprehensive information security program, responsible for the providing guidance and direction on information security policies, processes, and procedures for C5ISR government personnel and support contractors.
• Responsible for the assisting Physical Security, Personnel Security, Industrial Security requirements of the assigned spaces.
• Oversees and manages the C5ISR Security Classification Guide (SCG) program and ensures C5ISR SCGs are compliant with policies and directives.
• Supports the Preliminary Inquiry (PI) program including training of PI authors, assisting with PI reports, and providing guidance direction in accordance with C5ISR policy.
• Collaborates with the OPSEC team on protection of classified and sensitive information.
• Conducts self-inspection of the Information Security program to assess program compliance and implements corrective actions as required.
• Implements and oversees Preliminary Inquiries (PI) and performs duties in accordance with C5ISR PI procedures.

• Performs administrative services in the following areas: security and pre-employment suitability, Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD) requirements, and Personal Identity Verification (PIV) care access controls.
• Makes preliminary pre-employment or eligibility determinations on applicants for position for which applying. Reviews arrest reports and disposition of cases.
• Performs such tasks as evaluating the sensitivity determination for each position, as described by management based on need-to-know principles.
• Maintains a database that accurately reflects timely submission of forms to include fingerprints, reports and satisfactory National Background Investigation Services Electronic Application (eAPP) submission.

About the Role

Base Location: Aberdeen or Elgin

Are you ready to play a crucial role in safeguarding some of the most important assets across Scotland? As a Security Systems Service Engineer at SSE, youll be at the heart of maintaining and securing SSE infrastructure, ensuring the safety and operational continuity of SSE sites. Utilising your knowledge of security technology, youll travel across mainland Scotland and the islands, solving problems and keeping the system running smoothly. This role includes standby engineering duties across the Scottish region, so you'll need to be flexible and ready to support these arrangements. You should be comfortable working away from home when needed and must hold a valid UK driving licence. The main duties of this role include:

- Carrying out routine maintenance and responding to security system issues at SSE sites within your designated area, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

- Supporting Area Managers with smaller security installation projects, and step in to help wherever your expertise is needed.

- Identifying and troubleshoot both minor and major faults in security systems, contributing to upgrade projects where necessary.

- Collaborating with your engineering team, offering technical assistance on complex issues and resolving larger faults as they arise.

- Travelling across Scotland and the islands, including working away from home.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- A good level of knowledge on all aspects of security systems including CCTV, IDS and Access control. Competent in the maintenance and installation of electronic security systems.

- Highly motivated with the ability to evaluate a situation under pressure utilising your expertise, judgement skills and dynamic decision making.

- Exceptional concentration and good attention to detail along with clear, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.

- Excellent organisational skills and the desire to drive efficiency. You will need to be flexible as the role involves multi-tasking and juggling priorities.

- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft and Security system configuration applications.
