* Provide a professional, efficient, and approachable security service, with associated reception duties, maintaining a high level of customer service to staff and visitors at all times.

* Carry out patrols to ensure a safe and secure environment, recording maintenance issues, potential breaches of security or unusual occurrences in the site Daily occurrence book (found on SmartTask) and reporting any finding to the Security Control Room (SCR) accordingly.

* To provide staff, visitors & contractors to the site with helpful advice, guidance and information and if not able to do so, direct to someone who can assist appropriately.

politely prevented from gaining access or escorted from the site/building.

* Conduct routine security administration including the issue of visitor / contractor passes, permits as required.

* Ensure that any lost property left within the premises is securely stored, recorded and retrieved for the owner where appropriate and is reported to the Security Control Room.

* Maintain all security related equipment and working areas to a high standard of cleanliness and safety and ensure all defects are reported.

* Complete relevant records and logbooks, in a professional manner providing sufficient detail.

* During incidents of inappropriate behaviour or requests for assistance from the staff. Assist in the removal or escort of members of the public from the site where their behaviour is disruptive or presents a risk to others.

* Respond to requests to move on vagrants from client property or perimeter and ensure staff are not harassed by providing a visible security presence.

* Support and comply with the Fire, Health and Safety, and Security policies and procedures.

* Working with the Buildings Management teams (if required) to carry out the evacuation of people from lifts, to minimise panic and ensure the safety of all concerned.

* Assist in the induction and training of new members of the team.

CIS Security have an amazing opportunity available for a Corporate Security Officer, based in SW1, for a beautifully redeveloped building offering office accommodation, a pavilion extension and rooftop terraces with views across London's Westminster and Green Park.
We are looking for someone who has the ability to provide a friendly and secure corporate security service. We want an ambassador to represent CIS Security who will demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users.
Information:

Position: Corporate Security Officer
Location: London (SW1)
Pay Rate: £13.28 per hour
Hours: Average 52 hours per week
Roster: Nights - Rolling Roster Pattern - (Week 1) Wednesday to Sunday (Week 2) Thursday to Sunday

Job Requirements:

SIA Licence required
5* Corporate Security, Concierge or Front of House experience
Customer Service experience
Good IT Skills – Emails, CCTV, Calendar Bookings, alarm systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service at all times
Must have an excellent command of English Language
Reliable, responsible, attention to detail and efficient.
A friendly, professional, courteous and outgoing character
To take pride in your appearance at all times, ensuring immaculate presentation
Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence are desirable

Have the ability to write emails and reply to emails in the correct manner and speak, very important in Corporate Industry.
Have the ability to exercise command and control and be an effective communicator to all peer groups and management levels.
Able to understand Corporate Escalation Process, - Escalate and Disseminate information in a timely manner to the correct personnel in the event or during an emergency or Incident on site.
The role includes you to conduct opening & closing procedures of a building, patrolling, reception duties, access control, answering incoming telephone calls, conducting emergency procedures.

To efficiently undertake basic administration and clerical duties which may include the following duties inter-alia as directed:
• Data input, data extraction, photocopying, faxing, filing and typing duties
• To deal with internal and external post and emails on a day to day basis
• To support the team to maintain accurate, timely and legible records
• To answer/deal with queries, both face to face and via the telephone, take messages and pass them on to the relevant member of staff in an appropriate and timely manner.
• To file documents in court and assist in taking instructions from the clients.
• To provide appropriate reception cover as and when required.
• To meet and greet visitors as required.
• To maintain filing systems in line with organisations’ policies and procedures.
• To be a flexible and supportive member of the team.
• To maintain strict confidentiality at all times
• Attend and take part in team meetings & regular reviews with line manager etc.
• Throughout the training period the post holder will be expected to complete all educational and training as required.
