We have a great opportunity to join the team as a Security Officer working for a well-known company in Kent.

The rate of the pay is £12.61.

This is a full-time role. You will be working a 42 hour week, working on a 4 on 4 off basis and the shifts are 12 hours. This means you need to be flexible to work Monday to Sunday and to cover day and night shifts.

Your Time at Work

As a Security Officer, you will ensure the safety of our customers staff, their buildings and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.

It's a varied role and your duties will include:

- Patrolling and securing the area, and establishing presence
- Control and monitor surveillance equipment and perform building and equipment inspections.
- Protecting the company's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues
- Responding to alarms and emergencies.
- Communicating any irregularities with management.
- Keeping an incident report record.
- Following procedures for various initiatives including fire prevention, accident investigations
- Booking in colleagues, visitors, contractors, and tenants onto site.
- Aid people in need.
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation.
- Creating profiles and activating passes with the correct access level.
- Monitor the security pages ensuring site rules are being maintained and the system is in good order.

Our Perfect Worker

The successful candidate will hold a valid SIA License and have experience working in the security industry.

You must have a driving license and access to your own vehicle due to the location being in a rural area.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work on urban resilience in Greater Manchester, a city-region that is recognised by the United Nations as a global leader in resilience. As a Civil Contingencies Officer, the post holder will be a key member of the Greater Manchester Resilience Unit, supporting the emergency planning, response, and resilience service to the ten Councils in Greater Manchester. We are looking for a mature professional SIA Licence Holder with confidence, smart appearance, alert and courteous for one of our prestigious corporate sites:

Front of House duties - meet and greet
Must have basic computer skills - E-mails etc.
Very good telephone manner
Very polite yet assertive
Must be very articulated, matured and courteous
Must be brilliant with the English language both written and verbal
Experience is an advantage.

Own transport is an advantage but not essential

Must hold an active SIA licence - from the Security Industry Authority
