- Report instances of property at risk of being lost, stolen, damaged and vandalised.

- Ensure keys are handled in accordance with procedures laid down in the Assignment Instructions.

Key Responsibilities

Operations
- To assist in the control of all security operations in compliance with all statutory, Company and contractual requirements.

- Responsible for ensuring that the out of hours escalation process is implemented in the event of emergencies.
- Carry out routine tests of security equipment as directed by Operations Manager.

Site Manning
- Arrange standby and replacement SOs when required from within the team.

- Ensure the use of Sub Contractors is always avoided for the purpose of covering shifts.

Staff Supervision
- Provide motivation, encouragement, coaching and development to staff.
- Monitor and control staff performance, attendance, and punctuality.
- Maintain consistent disciplinary standards, ensuring the correct procedures are followed and all records are maintained.
- Conduct return to work interviews with employees following absences in line with company policy.
- Support with procedural change & adoption/Integration of new technologies/systems.

Health and Safety
- Record and report to Security Operations Managers all faults, health and safety hazards and unsafe working practices.
- Enforce health and safety procedures.
- Ensuring Health and Safety issues are managed and reported in line with company policy.

Training
- Ensure contractual training is completed and recorded.
- Identify subsequent training needs and ensure employees are trained to the required standard.
- Induct all new personnel to the workplace and review with Operations Manager.
- Training and Development - Including site compliance training, regular testing team's knowledge and competence.

Administration
- Provide accurate and timely information for the preparation of reports and complete as necessary.
- Institute appropriate follow up procedures continuously monitoring, analysing, and improving current procedures.
- Maintain logbooks and records as laid out in the Assignment Instructions.
- Maintain a record of security incidents.
- Review DOBs to ensure correct completion and highlight any issues to Operations Managers.

HR
- Supporting HR processes to include counselling meeting, Investigations & Disciplinary
hearings, as well as first stage grievance hearing.

- Previous management experience is essential.
- Must have the Security Industry qualification (Door Supervisor & CCTV SIA Licence)
- Recent qualification in Security or another appropriate discipline is desirable.

- Significant experience of securing Kubernetes (ideally AKS) and container security.

- Significant experience of automating security capabilities and operations and security/policy as code (e.g. with OPA, Azure Policy, etc.)

- Experience with Microsoft's Defender suite, in particular Defender for Cloud.

- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (previously AAD), including the Identity Governance capabilities Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel.

- Ideally experience of securing Github and Github actions (or similar).

Responsibilities

Adhere to Enforcement industry legislation, particularly the Laws Tribunals Courts & Enforcement Act 2007 and Taking Control of Goods, Commercial Rent Arrears Recovery, The Certification of Enforcement Agents Regulations 2014
Meet with an Enforcement Agent mentor in a timely fashion when undertaking “work shadowing” activities
Attend addresses, alongside a certificated Enforcement Agent and observe Taking Control of Goods if payment is not made
Ability to negotiate payment arrangements which complies with client and company guidelines
Upload notes, photos and fees from each visit to the case management system correctly
Be confident and self-motivated with the ability to achieve targets
Act in a professional manner at all times
Identify vulnerable groups and work within the company’s vulnerable group and safe-guarding policies
Adhere to company compliance and data protection throughout every visit

Good verbal communication
Excellent negotiation skills
Ability to work under pressure
Manage conflict and deal with vulnerable members of the public
